"Cherry Forever" like from the old 80s film Porky's. Seems fitting for that old of a batch.

Flemish Red and Oud Bruin are my 2 favorite beer styles. If it wasn't 6 years old, lactose would be a big NO-NO to add to a traditional fermented sour ale. I wonder if there are enough live critters to start working on the lactose.

Did you let it sit 6 years because you thought it might be bad?
@BrewDudes7 ай бұрын
I let it sit that long because I was lazy and not really sure what I wanted to do with it. It was part of an ongoing Solera style souring campaign I was doing and I have a ton of bottle sour beers. I just had to shut the process down to stop bottling so much beer. Finally decided to just play with it and see where it went; hence this video. Cheers! -Mike
