He was bengali and he could have easily selected bengali players for the team.....but he did not. The greatest era of Indian Cricket , only thing difference between that Australia team and India team of that era is bowling line up spin is always filled with legends in fast bowling one does amazing other not that level of bowling game changers . If you put current bowlers like Bumrah , Shami , yadav Prime Ishant , not even the greatest AUS team any team in the world will not be able to take on that India team , would have dominated like current team .

The game was so interesting back then. A win over Australia was an emotion. The game was so balanced. No rank turners which makes the game progress slowly and makes it interesting towards the end. ICC ruined the game with new rules like 2 new balls. So many nail-biting games.
