Hey man, i'm not sure if you feel making tutorials is that impactful but i've learned a shitton from your first TipsnTricks, same with this. Sadly i haven't taken the time to finish a project since i learned a bit from you, so i can't really show that improvement. But it's a lifetime above where i was before. Eager to see more from you.

I cant help but feel like everyone who can actually use SFM correctly and actually make something of good quality deservers to be praised for they're skill iv tried to use sfm myself im terrible I have no idea how sfm works and it seems just to much for me mainly due to I don't have the amount of creativity that you people do nor the skill i think the biggest reason why i want to praise everyone who can use this program is that most people here are just random everyday people you'd probley see it school work or whatever not always some big producer that after he/she comes home form work they start to work on they're own personal project most people who do sfm aren't getting paid to do this so to me that shows dedication and pure skill if they haven't taken classes just using tutorials like this on KZbin and ware ever else you may find these tips and stuff in the end i think i feel like im comparing sfm people to finalists of American idle, Americas got talent, dancing with the stars, etc. its the fact that these people are hiding in plain sight but have Ext ordinary skills beyond the average joe. and i just cant help but feel like some of those big movie producers are always looking for skilled people like these now im sure a lot of the people who work on sfm and do great at it probly are planning to do that as they're carrier if they aren't doing it allreddy... to finish this up (god im dragging this on forever >.

hey night shadow have you done anything cool by now? I bet you have. I agree this looks hard and I appreciate those who do all this hard work to bring us stuff. I hope to use sfm for some things I want to do so it's really great to have videos like this one to help us learn.

It looks easy for me. I have watched the official tutorial and understand it greatly. I don't have a computer that has windows though.

At 1:34 how did you get the light to stick to the Camera? That's something I could really use.
@tbOsiris30009 жыл бұрын
+Herbivore The Carnivore Click and Drag the light you want to edit onto the Viewport. Use that viewport to edit the light's position and such. I agree, that's something that'll bring some awesomeness to scenes.

Stupid Question... How did you get those black borders? In the final product I mean
@LordJagd8 жыл бұрын
+Non-Photo You can make an overlay yourself and add it in. That doesn't work for me for a technical reason so I just taped my computer monitor over where the black borders would be so I can animate with the final composition in mind and just add the borders at the very end with Adobe Premiere Pro

Could u make this into a full length video, like the security soldier w/ a small plot and all
@Herostrain10 жыл бұрын
I actually contrived this scene as a short prequel to Pinked, note the same soldier from the beginning, and the somewhat similar surroundings. So no full length video, but an addition to another I guess.
@Mincer4209 жыл бұрын
Looks way better when you rendered it, are there some extra things that i have to do when i render it?
@Herostrain9 жыл бұрын
+Mincer - Depth of field and non intrusive motion blur are super important. .021 is I thinks SFM's default, and it's also the industry standard in Hollywood. Also be sure to turn your sample rate up for DOF and MOBlur. 128 should be the minimum. If you think your system can handle it though, 1024x256 is recommended for the best looking results.
