Is there any kind of site out there that explains the individual sliders for the lights such as intensity shadowFilterSize and etc? And the same for the camera sliders? That way I can know what all they do in detail because they don't seem to go into explaining the sliders on the wiki

You do realize you don't have to go into the clip editor to apply changes right? Just press enter.

Of course, but in order to see changes rendered, you have to be in the clip editor. When working with lights, you can only really see the final product in the clip editor. I just sped up the process by skipping pressing enter.
