Is there any standard list or table, to name the attributes so that the extraction tables have the least amount of columns ? for example, if I use length, width, depth and height, I can have four elements that are almost common to the construction elements, but there are also manufacturer, model, style, material, form, etc.

I have an issue, can anyone help me out? This is the situation: I've changed (manually) a cell of my table (generated with Data Extraction). After that, I updated the drawing by adding a block that, when the data extraction updates too, my table adds a line befone the cell I've changed before. The problem is that the cell I've changed stays in the wrong line - it doesn't move to the line below as it was supposed to (since a line was added before)...

Type "Purge", then select "Blocks", then check mark all those useless blocks with the weird names AutoCAD makes, then press "Purge Selected Blocks" at the bottom to get rid of them.

a few questions: is it possible to change the table and it update the drawings? if so, is it possible to move the block in the drawing from the table: example - move the block 1' further from the wall by only updating the table? is it possible to add a 5th TREE03 block to the drawing and place it where you want by creating a table line and populating the row correctly?

When I modify the model example increase the count of any item from two to three then the extracted data in table form is not tupdating parallely but when I decrease the counting means from three to two it is updating pls guide what to do

If you are trying to figure this out on a Mac, here is my solution: buy a Windows PC, install AutoCAD, then install a Remote Desktop Client. Use Remote Desktop Client to access PC from Mac. Insert expletives. Save time. I mean, Christ, there is NO reason to use AutoCAD on a Mac. 😂 Other than to switch to Windows and be mindblown at how much quicker everything is. Many other issues with using the Mac version of ACAD… don’t be gaslit by the apparent guerilla Autodesk users who will say things like “there is a simple workaround.”
