If he put the putter back, it’s free game. That’s why I always hang on to something until I know for fact I don’t want it. Now, where you did mess up was you didn’t offer to sell it to him for what you’d make or more after eBay fees. Never know, he might have agreed. Easy quick flip.

Hey! Came here from Reddit. Thanks for all the info and insight into this niche, its really interesting! I was wondering, do you ever do any cleaning/repair/restoration on any of the clubs that you buy with scuffs, stains etc? Or do you strictly just buy and sell as is?

Thanks for coming over and checking out my videos. I do not to any repairs. I’m currently trying to learn how to regrip clubs. My personal goal is to be able to regrip by the end of the year. Other than that I do not buy clubs that have any defects. As far as cleaning goes I use a heat gun to remove Any stickers if I buy the club from a store. I then use goo gone on the shaft or club head to remove any residue left over from the sticker. The shaft also sometimes gets black sticky residue from the inside of golf bags when grips start to deteriorate that goo gone also takes care of. I use club doctor on every club head as well to buff it and make it shiny. It’s honestly a night and day difference. Club doctor was nice enough to give me a referral code because I bought so much. If you enter mulligan at check out it’s 20% off on their website. One bottle lasts me about half a year at this point. Other than that I use dish soap and water before doing anything because there is normally dirt in the grooves of any old club I buy. Let me know if all of that makes sense

@@Lonestarmulligans Hey! That all makes perfect sense, thanks so much for the detailed response. I've also fixed and sold a few used retro video games, and it sounds like a very similar process to cleaning those up haha. I'll keep your recommendations in mind for whenever I get around to going through the clubs that are available to me. Subbed to the channel as well, great stuff!

You leave something on the shelf it’s feel to others to buy. You carry it with you or have them hold it for you at the counter if you want to shop more to buy it.

You should try and get a part time job at a golf store. The amount of free stuff you get would blow your mind. Golf clubs, balls, gloves, shoes, hats etc. Even if you pay you get PUD up to 70 percent off or employee discounts. Not to mention playing free golf.

I’d give it up to the other guy for the simple reason that you’re reselling. Even though he put it down, I’d still give it to him cause buying any golf club as a golfer is exciting. Could’ve made that guys day but instead you care more about making a profit.

He could’ve been reselling as well. You don’t know anyone’s motive. He put it back on the shelf, therefore it wasn’t his taking.
