Hey brotha been watchin you since before dixons. Ive been on a major listing slump lately finding it extremely hard to get motivated. Would you take a look at my store? Then possibly again in a few months? I need to challenge myself, and maybe you can help a homie out

If you can list every day, schedule the drafts to be posted/released during the week. Nit in the mood to photogragh? Delete and sell similar also pleases algorithm.

Hi and thank you for all your wonderful videos! Do end and sell similar counts as listing for the day?

I personally do not count end and sell similar as a new listing.

@Beau Great informative videos! Do you know if there a way to set up sales to automatically add items based on “days on site”. I’d love to have items just go on sale at 90 days, rather than doing it manually. When I look at the rules available on the sales setup, I only see the option of a price range and one other ( I think by category). If there is a way, I’d love if you would show that on a future video. Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Ebay keeps saying that buyers like Free Shipping. I took one of my store categories (jewelry) that are lightweight items and changed to Free Shipping on older items. I did get some older items sold. Free shipping was cheaper that discounting an additional 10% in many cases. When sales are slow that may be a short-term strategy to bump sales.

I have questions!!!! 1)If you have a brand that is lesser known (and more than likely not searched) but pick up style based items, can the brand be left off to make room for more keywords? 2) I already asked where is the best place to insert vintage in your title. 3) do keyword make more impression in title, in description or in check off options, so to prioritize which ones you post where? Second part of this question is do “hashtagged” keywords in the description box hold as much weight those in the title. And same question related to Poshmark

Just curious, why do I have to list every day in order to make consistent sales? If I already have 500 good items in my store, shouldn't I be getting good sales everyday regardless, even if I'm not listing anything else?

Activity pushes your store up in the search, much like sharing on Poshmark.

No not at all... When you get to 800 and up then you start getting traction. List everyday if you want the sales. Otherwise if it's just a hobby for you then do whatever
@DrewM864 ай бұрын
You dont have to....but think like this. You list an item...hours pass. How many people around the world have also listed similar item? Knocking you down the list. Also if your a buyer on ebay you notice towards the bottom of a listing it will show related items, and stores sellimg similar items. The more you list the more eyes will see your listings
@nicoleoconnor_isfrugal4 ай бұрын
Posting daily makes eBay’s algorithm post your items before others that are similar in the search engine, it’s kind of the same with paying for promotion, if you do both your items will in the search engine well before others. So unless your selling something very unique no one will see your product or they will have to scroll past several others to find it.

My husband and I can't list every day as we work full time so weekends are our sourcing and prepping and listing time. Then what happens when all your goodwills are just too expensive to source from and garage sales are out of season in fall winter? Buy in bulk?
@MSGsTreasures5 ай бұрын
You make drafts on the days u can list, you wake up Saturday and Sunday and take 30 seconds and publish some of your drafts. Done and listed for the day.
@DrewM864 ай бұрын
When I was working full time I would take any free time I could yo make drafts. During my lunch break, at a stop light 😅, While using the restroom, waiting in line anywhere, or in a lobby at the drs whatever spare minutes I could gather up
@justanotherreseller3514 ай бұрын
@@DrewM86 oh your talking about using your phone to make drafts lol. I only do desktop computer Thanks for the thoughts tho I do about 70 listings on the weekends so. I'm good. My point was that as long as I am consistent with listing. I should be good to go. I am very consistent on weekends.

@justanotherreseller3514 ай бұрын
@@DrewM86 I used to do that. I would buy all kinds of clothes. Back 4 years ago I could get them at goodwill for 3.50 a piece then just go crazy on it and buy tons of it. list them and then wait and wait and 60% of them would never sell cause they were so saturated or just not wanted. I now just buy a few at a time, let those sell first, then when i get to down to 5 items left, i will buy a few more, let those sell...otherwise I end up with hundreds of dollars that go to waist cause they are not wanted...much less overwhelming this way.

I spend 2-3 days a week listing everything I can, and I spend the other days sourcing. I don't want to list every day. If I'm consistently listing on those days shouldn't that be the same as listing every day? I am listing enough for the entire week
@nikkifarmsnow4 ай бұрын
The algorithm simply loves daily consistency. I like to utilize the scheduling tool! You can still only list 3 days per week, just instead of publishing the listing immediately, schedule out for the next 4 days of the week :)
@matthewstpierre14342 ай бұрын
No. Been selling full time for 3 years. You are better off to divide up your weekly listings evenly across all 7 days.

I dont mean to sound ignorant but how did you come up with how many they sell a day? For example my store has 593 listed and sold is 284. How would I calculate that into sale through?
@BeauJohnson15 ай бұрын
Great question! STR is based on a 90 day average so take total sold in the last 90 days (284/90) = 3.15 sales per day in the last 90 days good work!

Hi Beau, I sell on multiple platforms. I have 299 items listed and have sold 167 in the past 90 days across all platforms, which puts me at 1.85 per day. do you think I should be higher since I'm on multiple platforms or is that still considered okay? P.S. I did try to watch your Whatnot show today, but I was having such internet issues. I will definitely be at the next one. Thank you!

Know it all KZbinrs like you are the problem. Spreading false narratives and grifting under the the guise of “ I’m helping I am an expert”
@jordanschoffstall4 ай бұрын
I have some questions: 1. What "problem" specifically is he? World hunger? Global warming? Generational poverty? Trump getting a second term? Please be specific here. 2. Could you also please elaborate on this "false narrative"? What is it? What is it's purpose? Do you think he might be in cahoots with the evil Goodwill executives, attempting to brainwash the reselling community? Please, I have to know! The suspense is killing me... 3. Evidently I don't know the real definition of "grifting." I was under the impression it involved someone swindling another out of their money, or something similar. Sure, he charges a price for his store items. Besides that though, I'm pretty sure you and I are both watching his video free of charge. Fairly certain that the reselling group he refers to is also free. I'm at a loss to see where or who he is tricking out of their hard earned money. But again, I must not understand that term. 4. The man is successful at what he does. He's trying to help others. What're you doing, besides leaving vague and baseless KZbin comments (and apparently being religious while swimming)?
@WesBeckAEF4 ай бұрын
Pretty sure every page voluntarily asked for his critique, he's not charging a dime, and from what I heard he's absolutely right on with his suggestions. But I've only sold 3.5k items over the last decade so I'm not an expert at diagnosing the problem like you. Also, grifting isn't applicable considering buyers receive the products they buy or they receive eBay money back guarantee. This lesson in education was also totally free.
