I have a question and it’s just about every time I try to buy an E bike the bomber style Enduro it shows up as say 1400 then I ask him for how much would be to Canada like for one of these bikes in total and they say well we could do it for 850 then when they write it up it’s 3000 and something are they showing the delivery fee on the bikes not the cost I don’t understand

kian , about scam number 6, does not trade assurance prevents a buyer to get scammed , by holding the money from the seller. I mean, if this is possible, that would defeat the whole purpose of a safe payment mecanism.

Hey Joanna, glad you're liking the content! I'd start with asking your manufacturer what product certificates they have on the products (best to ask multiple factories so you know what is the standard), then I'd also ask if they have in-house testing, depending on the product it may be important that they also do internal testing before production. I'd also verify this information with a 3rd party like Intertek or SGS and ask them what are the legal and industry standards for your particular product you want to import (this will be free information as those 3rd parties also do the testing so they are just quoting you to do the test but at the same time you are finding out what tests are legally required and which ones are just suggestions). I wouldn't trust it to be honest, if they were an official supplier for those brands they wouldn't be allowed to share that they make for them as they would lose their customer if they revealed that info so it's most likely false information. I would only work with factories who are 'verified' on alibaba. Hope this helps!

Honestly I would say that's far too risky, for a purchase that size you may as well get the plane ticket over to inspect the goods in the factory yourself before making the decision to purchase, make sure the factory is 'verified' too, I have a few other videos on the channel too on how to find the best factories and which type of questions to ask to get the best results!

I would always do the first payment on alibaba to make sure everything goes smooth and your goods were fine, once the order was received with no issues you can move to offsite payments for next one, but for the first one it's important to have trade assurance and that payment protection. If doing offsite payment make sure you get a pre-shipment inspection done, I can recommend you a good one by email if you like, if you need it drop me an email to [e-mail]

Yeh if it's branded it's likely a scam, but ask if you can do the payment on alibaba and then use trade assurance so your payment is protected
