Who pays for transportation fees from the factory or origin warehouse to the country you want to sell the product in ? Is it the manufacturer or the importer? And in general what transportation company would you advise ?

If you're venturing into shipping and dealing with larger quantities, understanding shipping terms is crucial, especially when importing goods. Two common terms you'll encounter are EXW (Ex Works) and FOB (Free On Board). FOB implies that the seller bears the costs of transporting, documenting, and handling the goods until they are loaded onto the ship. Once loaded, all subsequent costs become the responsibility of the buyer. On the other hand, EXW means that the buyer must cover all costs, including transportation, documentation, and handling from the seller's premises. This arrangement places a greater financial responsibility on the buyer. It's essential to be aware of the significant impact shipping costs can have on your overall expenses. When importing larger quantities, these costs should be factored into your calculations to ensure accurate budgeting and pricing. Don't be surprised by the potential expenses associated with shipping, and make sure to account for them in your business planning.

Usually manufacturer terms are fob. Freight on board. Their pricing will include freight being ready to ship at their port. You are responsible for picking it up at their port to your destination. A freight broker can can coordinate for you

Kian, THANKS for great videos! None of the suppliers I've spoken to are familiar with NANDO or the regulations required for certain electronic products in the EU. If the product falls under medical device and a certain risk class, compliance might be mandatory. I'm unsure about this, so importing without knowing could have consequences. Not sure what to do about the situation, because i really want to sell the Red-Light-Therapy mask. Any tips?

Any product like this must get 3rd party testing approval from labs like Intertek, SGS etc which provide official certification that it's safe. When working with any factory like this definitely ask for their certification before proceeding to next stage and you can also send the samples to these labs for your own testing too, hope that helps
