What a beautiful version ! A complete singer, full of surprises, never sings in the same tunes twice ! I can't understand how some people heap praises on some music directors singing very mediocre compared to these stalwart singers like Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam etc.

গানটা আমার খুবই পছন্দের গান সেটা আবার যখন হরিহরন-জীর কন্ঠে তাহলে তো কোনো কথাই নেই। তবু গানটা শুনতে গিয়ে কোথাও যেন " আমি যে তোমারই শুধু জীবনে মরণে " এই পঙতিটা খুব মিস করছিলাম। শুনছি আর ভাবছি এই বোধহয় বাংলার ওই পঙতিটা জুড়ে দিয়ে গানটার একটা অন্য মাত্রা এনে দেবে। গান সম্মন্ধে আমি যতটুকু বুঝি সেটা একেবারেই নগন্য আর হয়তো আমার এই কথাটাও ছোটো মুখে বড় কথা বলা হবে তার জন্য আমি আগে থেকেই ক্ষমা চেয়ে নিলাম কিন্তু তাও কোথাও গিয়ে আমার মনে হয়েছে যদি বাংলার ওই পঙতি টুকু যোগ করা যেত তাহলে হয়তো আরো অনেক মাধুর্য আসতো। ☺️
