Remember the episode when Erza meets Bisca? And then how good friends they are even when she was happy for bisca and alzack got married and have a child. I love how well scripted is the show

It's a shame you haven't seen the episode that shows how Erza and Bisca met, because it's a good one and shows their bond. If you don't know, Bisca (and Alzac too) is from a western country (don't know if on Ishgar or Alakitasia) and she came to Fiore and, being broken and unable to get a job, used Fairy Tail's reputation to get what she wanted... until she met Erza and... well you know how Erza is when someone tarnish Fairy Tail's name. Let's just say that Erza inspired Bisca to become a wizard (they both even use Requip) and join Fairy Tail... where she met Alzac and then married him. This episode only came to show that bond even more, because it was Erza's light that allowed Bisca to take down Ajeel's ship and allow Erza to give the final blow on him.

if you’re wondering. Morning Star armor’s element is light thats why its lights up too long compared to to normal requip. also, erza has used that armor against edo erza, azuma and at pandemonium.

I'm glad Bisca helped Erza, especially since Bisca "repaid" the favor to Erza after Erza helped her join the guild. I just wish some other side characters got more time to shine in Alvarez arc. Juvia could've been assisting Erza during this fight

Must know if u dont know ur enemy u can't risk on attacking coz u might end up losing. Retreat and come back later when you done more research. Erza couldn't beat Ajeel coz she never faced a sand magic user before but what cool with Erza she good at reading magic and how to counter them. She does that all the time. Like in the Games, when Erza facing the 100 monsters, she using her Heaven's wield to test the monster's weaknesses, when she find the weakness she can either equip the swords that will do most effective, and the sword that can protect her from the attack and the right type of Armor. I lvoe Erza dont have to go full set but using diff armours and weapons and combine them. Also when Erza fought Nightmare, she had no idea how to fight him until she learned later, using her Heaven's wield, testing her swords against him and when she finally figure it out it's game over for Nightmare. Lit, if u gonna face Erza, make it hard as possible for her to read ur magic. If she knows the slightest weakness she gonna win.

With all love and respect that I have for erza I kinda started to be annoyed with her for always getting the big fights espacially in this arc and it would have been nice to give this fight to juvia instead since water was ajeel's weakness. I mean how can it be that we have 12 main fights and erza is involved in 1/4 of them and characters like juvia,mira or even lucy for example get nothing but minions to fight?

You are wrong! The main fight was supposed to be with the team dragon slayers! But due to motion sickness they couldn’t fight against him. Besides it’s not only water but also wind and more elements that can weaken Ajeel magic.

Except it was already established that Brandish is very lazy, doesn't really like to kill, and noticed something about Lucy back on the island they first met. Furthermore, it was established that Layla had given her keys to her servants with at least one of them being on a temporary basis (Capricorn), and since Cancer went to her as well, almost assuredly two and a good chance all 3. There was plenty of story to imply Aquarius' key had also been given to someone else, including the fact that Layla got sick and died shortly after the Eclipae Gate was opened in 777. Just because some of the story was told during and after Brandish was introduced doesn't mean it was plot armor or contrived after the fact. The whole story had been being built since the scene at Layla's grave after Phantom Lord. If the whole backstory had been told at the end of Phantom Lord, almost all future emotional impact would be destroyed, plus surprises like Zoldio, the Eclipse, and Brandish would be spoiled. That would be horrible writing. Not only that, which should have been able to be understood with just a smidgen of reading comprehension, but Mashima even stated that he made the 12 to have broken powers but a glaring weakness for each one. Brandish's weakness was her laziness/unwillingness to fight, which was further exacerbated by finding the truth out about her mother and realizing her "enemies" weren't bad people.

As for lucy, no matter the backstory, brandish not reducing magnolia instantly is plot armor no matter how you see it. If she wanted to take a bath with lucy, she could have just kept her house the same size and reduced everything else.

Hmmm they're two of the main characters, so that's not surprising. And Natsu really only fought one person this arc aside from mooks and a couple of one-shot victories over already defeated foes. Erza did not fight anyone alone, and she only got the final blow on the first one, and she lost the last one until Irene's weakness came into play (she defeated herself). This whole series has been pretty much team Natsu. I don't really know why you would be complaining after 300+ episodes.
