Without ever having read the manga or anything, I knew Muichiro would be my fav in the series. There was something about him... I told my wife at the beginning of this arc "I guarantee you he'll be my favorite." Episode 8 and 9 were all I needed to see. He's my fav hands down.

most of the characters lost their family to demons. weird to say it's a copy of Tanjiro's backstory when the only thing they have in common is a parent dying of illness and a sibling getting attacked.

Fun fact: In the manga Muichiro called Yuichiro ni-san. They're twins but Yuichiro is older by minutes so technically Yuichiro is still older than Muichiro. In Japan it's very common for twins to still be considered a big brother or younger brother even if they're twins

I know that Youichiro was pretty cold, but he does make some good points. Helping ppl is great, but always know your limit. Yes, he was sad that his parents passed on, but he was also telling his parents to rest when needed. I think this adds to frustration, yes his parents were kind and was working to provide for their children, but everyone has a limit. I would think Youichiro would rather have less than watch his parents deteriorate and pass way.

In case you haven't made the connection, the markings are the same as Tanjiro's scar. It's a mark, Tanjiro only was able to behead Gyutaro / do that insane attack this season on the 3 emotions during that mark

Also, people stopped believing Yoriichi and Toujuro are the same person already bc this season it was said tons of times that Yoriichi lived 300 years ago and showed a couple of times he was just friends with Tanjiro's family. It was revealed Tanjiro's family was normal and just got the sun breathing bc one of them offered to pass it down it Yoriichi teaches him, meanwhile it was said many times that Muichiro comes from swordman and users of the first breathing. As long as ppl pays attention and remembers what they have told us, they will know Tanjiro and Muichiro aren't related, bc the anime has shown it, if someone gets confuse it's fine for other to guide them and correct them
