Hope that isn't that too much reality for you. That said, are you Asian? Because they earn more in white countries... so is that white privilege? Or are you just a moron who believes in unicorns, magic, white privilege and other myths?

Roofhack LMAO!!!!! Yoh, look how fast you jump to this convoluted conclusion about me?! XD 1) I AM SOUTH AFRICAN and live here. 2) I am Khoi (specifically \Xam) in heritage and that explains my somewhat Asiatic apprearence. 3) What part of my statement described me being unaware of the reality that is white priviledge? The fact that you put a statement like "South Africa is a shit hole" and didn't elaborate on this topic besides talk about how blacks are worse off than before made you sound very uninformed and possibly white. Tell us something we don't know...........?? South Africa, btw, is a great country with a wealth of natural resources. This country is not shit and never was shit, that is why this part of the planet is under so much European/American scrutiny and put under so much foreign pressure. Have you ever asked yourself why the continent with the most to offer has so many problems? Black Tax is my reality everyday but I'm not the type of POC to just moan about it. They are the few, we are the many - a time will come when these roles are reveresed and POC are afforded the respect they deserve. The way the internet is set up, more people are woke to these things than ever before. Chill with that angry black man shit. Fight the system - not the people. Stay woke. - Danielle.

Inspirational! Despite the bigotry, ignorance and blatant racism in many of the comments below, a large part of South Africa's youth is making enormous strides in re-defining themselves, not as victims of Apartheid, but as victors emerging out of a very challenging history. Despite the enormous inequality and poverty that still strangles the best, and insidious corruption in leadership and civil service, many young people in SA are taking responsibility for their lives, and actively creating a better world for many. I applaud their courage and vitality. Viva South Africa Viva!

People like you are the reason why racism still exists. You are just as bad as the next racist white Afrikaner.
@fmiller3610 жыл бұрын
SeriousPlastiek Actually no, Plastiek. By the ACTUAL REAL definition of ''Racism'', --not the one where you whites have co-opted and made up out of your own cluelessness-- it is quite literally you and the very people that LOOK LIKE you who are the reason why ''Racism'' still exists. And not by anyone else! Racism has next to nothing to do with anything I nor any other KZbinr commenting on any video has to say. And the funniest part of it is that you don't even have the slightest clue of why. LOL! Go pick up a book and read about what ''Racism'' is.. and THEN you are free to come back into this conversation when you have something of use to actually say.
@SeriousPlastiek10 жыл бұрын
F Miller People who look like me are the reason racism exists? That statement is in itself racist and extremely untrue. Come to South Africa or go to the middle east and you will see the most extreme forms of racism in the modern world. Name one "white" country that still has laws in place in the year 2014 that discriminates against people who are not white. It doesn't exist. You live in a fictional world and I would rather suggest you go read up on the definition of racism.
@fmiller3610 жыл бұрын
The fact that you think ''racism'' can only be narrowed down to laws that explicitly state open discrimination against a people today shows that the only one living in a fictional world is you. Very typical of a white South African. Bye, Clown! Read a book before deciding to debate with anyone on this subject. You are as clueless as the pictures and videos that you take.

Yoichi Kuroko The blacks were not really oppressed. Yes they couldn't vote and were restricted where they traveled but they were not oppressed as the Jews were by the Nazis or as the Palestinians are by the Israelis. Mandela in South Africa and Mugabe in Zimbabwe painted a picture that once apartheid was over the blacks were going to be rich because the white man was holding them down. Problem was the white man wasn't holding them down they were holding themselves down and still are. Both countries are much worse off now then they were under white rule. Zimbabwe especially.

To be honest, sure the African people of South Africa enjoy more civil liberties than they used to the but the toxic underdevelopment of social structures has, in my opinion, almost permanently intellectually crippled them. So many are caught under this blanket supernaturalism that makes it not only congenial but attractive to be apathetic and worthless. The 'victim' mentality permeates the entire culture from stem to stern, on both sides of the racial factions. Many Afrikaans feel very violated and unheard and even to some extent silenced by the political climate in South Africa. And many Africans still feel like they're at a social and political disadvantage where most of the higher offices of business and education are helmed by white people. The divide is only made deeper by a religious worship of the legacy of Mandela which is convoluted in political propaganda 24/7. South Africa isn't free. It's victims of a much more intangible and formidable bondage than it's ever faced before. And unfortunately the only people capable of liberating the captives, will not let them go free. The real slave master here is ignorance, apathy, mediocrity, and superstition, and the bondsman is the people of South Africa themselves. I see no free generation.

While I agree with the freedom of expression of oneself, I cannot help but think that those tee shirts are appalling and quite frankly disgusting. You may not have been directly affected by apartheid or its policies but a very large proportion of your fellow citizens have. There is nothing liberating about choosing to use a term that used to be used by racists to dehumanise yourselves (Africans) in the past. In fact, it is an irresponsible act that is counterproductive! The exact same thing with black Americans referring to each other as 'niggas'. There's nothing fashionable about embracing what was put in place by a racist system in the name of art. Come on man its this type of miseducation that riles me as a Black man. Empower yourself and create your own history and believe in your abilities and intuition. Until people instill themselves with Black consciousness, Africa's history will be written by somebody else; which in this case is the Boer and the English lot. Educate yourself.

Egie Asemota The point I was attempting to make with my statement is that we Africans...wherever we may be on this planet, should think so highly of ourselves that we speak and invent more of our own languages and don't have a "white" language as our primary dialect.

What a oity they no longer have their own tribal lands wherer they used to be able to live genuinely free as a people in their own culture, free to raise cattle, have chickens clucking around the house for eggs and meat, maize growing and vegetables, secure and in a land of peace and prosperity, Apartheid South Africa. Apartheid was good for everyone - now look at what Mandela has done - made something utterly foreign and absolutely unknown to Africa and African culture, homosexuality. Not only that betrayal, but he sold the country out to the Jewsih bankers - the people of SA are now really enslaved. SA is no longer a sovereign country but just a corporation, listed on the NYSE as a business in whch anyone can buy shares! And, the People are listed as belonging to the corporation as "the human resources" just as the minerals are listed as "the mineral resources." Remember, Joe Slovo was Mandela's handler. Mandela was a traitor to the people of Africa - especially the Black people! Remember, the Transkei, Bopututwsana, KwaZuly and probably the rest of the tribs wanted NOTHING to do with that election which brought the communist ANC to power over you poor people! SA betrayed Gaddafi! "The Crown", meaning the banking system of London with the Quessn of Britain as the pretend head, now tells SA how to vote at the UN!!! SA cannt vote according for what is best for SA - the corporation has to vote for what the crooked banksters want! Wake up South Africa. Go and learn about The UBUNTU Party. Look up Michael Tellinger and New Era Economics, for Heaven's sake!

It is quite disappointing to see how the culture of black south africans turns to the same decadent life style that all people live, once they have money. Nobody needs another shoe or media designer as long as there are people dying because of poor living conditions. Why for example is it better to be a dancer who travels the world than to be a gardener? Fuck normality? Why?

@Prof MATH DZ LO! RELIGION WITH ALLAH IS ISLAM إن الدين عند الله الإسلام و من يبتغ غير الإسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه o Islam is دين الله (Way of Life given by Allah). How mankind should live in this world. It is not man made like other religions. It has it's root in Qur'an and authentic حدیث (sayings of Prophet) . Therefore Islamic laws are better than any other law of the world made by man. Problem of Europe is that it does not understand this very important fact. They think that theirs law is better than Islamic law. Almighty Allah says : " The revelation of the Book is from Allah,the Mighty, the Wise. Lo! We have revealed the Book unto them (Mohammad) with truth; so worship Allah,making the Deen pure for Him (only). Surely pure Deen is for Allah only (Qur'an,39:1-3) This universe is originated by Almighty Allah and Mankind created by Him. Allah has clearly mentioned this fact in Qur'an. Almighty Allah -- the Master Creator. We have to study and research the Holy Qur'an sincerely. It is in broader interests of humankind. Follow Islam to make your life better in this world and in the life of Hereafter. O Allah show us the right path of Islam. " The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go stray". (Qur'an, 1:7) DR.MOHAMMAD LAEEQUE NADVI Ph.D. (Arabic Lit.)
