Just in case you want to watch the show, Lisa was the dance mentor for Youth With You seasons 2 and 3. She taught female trainees in S2, while S3 had male trainees. At the middle of S2 covid happened so she wasn't able to go to China for the 2nd half of s2 and the entire s3. Just a heads up in case you'll wonder why in the later compilations Lisa was facetiming them instead of actually physically being there.

The winners of YWY S2 successfully debuted as a girl group, but sadly the YWY S3 winners that were supposed to debut as a boy group was cancelled since just before they were about to film the finale, the Chinese government imposed a ban on idol shows. China is a tough market for Kpop for obvious political reasons (long story short, China and North Korea have always been anti-democracy and anti-South Korea, they have banned Kpop and Kdramas in the past). Even BTS and TWICE have officially excluded themselves from that market. After Youth With You S2 came out though, Lisa became MEGA POPULAR in China.

I'm not going to state my opinion on it because I'm neither Korean nor Chinese, but I can state the facts. China, like Japan, is an isolated market, but it's a MASSIVE market. I'm sure you've read why almost everyone hates China (I mean the government, the people there shouldn't take the blame) being one of the countries with the worst human rights, their allegiance with Russia bringing down Ukraine, and especially their anti-Western sentiments, and I guess despite being the biggest market, for Kpop companies and other companies really it just isn't worth it. I mean, look at Disney, historically they used to suck up to China and whenever the Chinese government has something to say, Disney easily complies with them and edits out parts they don't like (like depicting China in any bad light) just so their films are allowed to air in China (and with China being the most populated country in the world, it's a HUGE market). China has also been anti-LGBTQ. But now, I'm so happy to see Disney standing up to themselves and now refusing China's conditions, even if that large market is tempting. Sure, it's still not perfect but it's nice to see more and more companies taking a stand against censorship.

I still cannot believe that she actually asked if he put make up on his head LMAO, if I tell u soma people find that disrespectful and hated on her to an apoligize?? Okay but heres some sad facts: if I tell u TONNY was like the best/one of the best these trainees of that season he was like the best one to debut in a group and he was like Lisa's fav trainee or one of her fav BUT a big controvessal thing involving his family happened and basically Lisa's fav trainee/one of her favs left the Youth with You :( but was so sad coz he literally was like in close to the show's finale and BOOM literally kicked out, he left the show :( , also CHINA man, they ENDED Canceled Stopped the show WITHOUT A FINALE without an ending, so we didnt know if the trainees would debut or not or if all theie work was a waist of time because the show was canceled, I remembee when I saw these news I was really mad coz man.... Seriously how they ended a show like that bro but they ended also because of some big big sad and weird controversies, so I thought was a waist of time all that work but if im not mistaken they ctually debuted in a group? I dont remember but i think they did, also another sad thing is involving Lisa in the 1st eps of Youth with You 3, as u noticed, she wasnt there in Chine bevause of that disease u know what disaese im talking about, so she was face time,but she was getting involving some controversies because of YG, coz in that time she was doing commercials of the Vivo phone(a smartphone) but YG's photo edits WERE POOR seriously if u see the pics u will see hiw ridiculous they are, bro literally the cellphone was floating/clipping though Lisa's hand, and ppl started to hate on YG that time and some blinks even re-edit the photo and wasbetter, and she was in YWY3 as a mentor but her connection was really bad she kept lagging and getting disconnected, so if u put together the controversial involving the Cellphone plus this one, also I think she was using 3G LMAO idk if she was or was just a joke blinks did, I remember some memes of her commercial with BamBam I think where they are showing the power of 5G internet, where blinks made a meme like "Expectation:" Lisa with a powerful 5G, Reality: Lisa lagging a lot thru a facetime 3G 😂, anyway so YG was kinda getting criticized for this treatment towards her also she kept using the same clothes and in the same room over and over again and lagging so... Man a lot of weird scandals involving her happened in the begging of last year, also she was working A LOT 😭 seriously she was doing commercials, brand photoshoots, she was beung a mentor in YWY, Rosé was debuting Solo that time and she could go to the off stage of Rosie's performance to support her, also she was hated by some solo stans for not coming to Rosie's MV set to support her like wtf the gurl was busy and they hated in her before she come to the off stage set, also despite working a lot and dont having time, she almost fainted/threw up, in a performance she had to learn a song We rock(i think this is the name) and man when she finished the dance she almost threw up and she layed on the floor breathing hard, I felt bad fir her, all of these in the 1st months of 2021 and yet the show was canceled without a proper finale
