❣RM's MONO mixtape which he prefers to rather call a 'Playlist' is really meant to hear one song after another. This masterpiece of an album, released in 2018, charted #1 in no less then 91 countries, all while BTS were continually touring worldwide. It really takes you on a journey, all of a mood, putting you in your feels, but yet it's also a release that draws out hidden emotion one might not even realize they have. Highly recommend you listen to 'Mono' with eng lyric vids except for Seoul, Moonchild, & Forever Rain, that all have MV,s you need the cc for ever so important eng subs. Forever Rain, is one of RM's most fav songs, which is meant to be heard last on his 'Mono' playlist consisting of 7 songs, a couple quite short under 2 min, so the whole 'mixtape' is around 22 min long.

Forever rain is healing, in a sense that, rain represents healing because it almost understands our pain and loneliness by washing it away. This is what I get from this song, that's why Joonie wants it to rain forever, because he feels safe in the rain. Please! I love him so much. Once again, great reaction.

Mono is my favourite album ever! Whenever I'm having a hard time I just play mono from the beginning to end & it's a whole emotional rollercoaster ride. Mono has to be the one of greatest album that have ever came into this world. And Namjoon has to be the one of greatest poet in our time! This song is so deep, every song in mono is very very deep

in this song RM describing his struggle with depression and the constant fear of change. The definition of “mono” means “alone” and “single”. This word is derived from the “monolithic”, meaning “without interesting differences" or “unable to be changed”. And that’s what Forever Rain is about: the sentiment of being an outcast. The music video is visually in black and white to capture a theme of loneliness. When it rains, most people symbolize it with the weather which accompanies an introspective and dejected state of mind. However, it can also be seen as a cleansing agent that purifies the atmosphere after some disaster. RM sees the pouring rain as one of his friends, as if the raindrops were always concerned about how he’s feeling. It is possible to notice the deep lyrics consisting of lonesomeness emotions when the first verse is sung. It really expresses how he wishes that the rain could stay pouring forever so that his tears wouldn’t get noticed - as they appear to be when the sun shines. you should check whole album mono that album :)

I went on a solo trip one day last fall. I had gone out to the Wallowa Mountains in Eastern Oregon just to be by myself for the weekend and do some bird-watching. I drove out into some hills one day and it was getting on around sunset when I finally turned around and started heading back towards town. I had the windows rolled down, and it had started to drizzle, just a bit. I was driving slowly through those hills at like, maybe 5 miles an hour, just a mere crawl, on that deserted road, in the lightest of rain, with my chin leaning against the wheel, just staring out at the sunset, and listening to this song. Just so you know. Of course we cannot shake 100% all our feelings, our fears, our doubts, but when he released mono he came live (as usual) and he warned ARMY not to be worried, that the lyrics and the music were liberating, that he could only do these songs in the album because he no longer felt like that, he wasn't in the dark place he found himself in previously. As I said, nothing can be changed drastically, and even today in his bd vlive you can feel his grey area mind. He's a good man. With the weight of the world (the expectations) put on him when he's merely "just an artist". He is my bias too, with Yoongi and Jin. I don't doubt there are remarkable people everywhere in the world, but these men, all 7, are something special.
