South African Steam Safari 3

Third episode of my 2000 South Africa steam journeys. This video covers the trip from George to Knysna and return with double headed 19D 4-8-2 locomotives including runpasts on the famous Kaaimans River Bridge. Also seen are 24 class 2-8-4 locos on the normal service and special "Tchoo Choo"
trains.

Very nice, I've been on this line in 1994. Sadly the line has been closed now for quite some years after a landslide just beyond the Kaaimans bridge and tunnel blocked the line. It's a relatively short stretch but apparently difficult and expensive to repair as the bank is very steep and the N2 main road above it.
