Hi, (1) Bandung is Rose syrup + Carnation brand evaporated milk. (2) the brown colour topping of the Kueh is actually gula Malaka. Which is made with coconut sugar which gives it that fragrant coffee taste.

My favourite ….. which is kuih keria ( dough is from sweet potato). Difficult to get it in Singapore. Only a few Malay stalls have it & sold only in the mornings. Oh ! I like jemput jemput too 😋

Very nice of the malay couple to introduce the singa snacks, next of line should u should try this (1) roti kirai (2) rendang with ketupat for hari raya (3) wadeh at joo chiat (4) nasi lemak lobster (5) jemput jemput with prawns
