South African Woman Makes Brawn

This South African woman can cook! Today, she is taking the meat off the head of a pig to make Brawn, otherwise known as Head Cheese. It's a fascinating process and Chef Bernadine will show us how.

Reminds me of making scrapple back in the '50s on our farm in the Finger Lakes. Very little ever went to waste on the farm, and the variety of cooking always meant something to look forward to. Thanks folks for sharing and bringing back fond memories.
