Bigbang literally CHANGED the kpop industry. never happened before and never after. all 3rd gen grps that are now popular af used to go to BIGBANG concerts to learn what "performance" meant and 4th gen idols grew up among their music since toddlers. BIGBANG changed the game. i can't list all their achievements but they introduced dying hair for comebacks, lightsticks, mini-albums, airport fashion, underground rappers to idols concept......MANY things that r now common in the industry

G-Dragon, the OG King of K-pop. The only K-pop concert I have been able to attend was GD’s MOTTE III concert in Chicago at the US Bank arena on July 21st of 2017. I missed Blackpink’s concert in 2019, but I WILL NOT MISS THIS ONE! GD’s concert was less of a concert and more of an experience. It was amazing.

Bigbang is the standard and trendsetter in Kpop which is why there are new kpoppies who can't accept the fact. Literally whatever you see in today's kpop are all started by Bigbang. The first kpop idols/group to write&produce their own songs. The first kpop idols who introduce lightstick (before Bigbang kpop senior groups were using ballons). The first kpop group to have underground rapper TOP since then other agency always debut their low tone idol as rappers. The first kpop group to bring dark concept & hiphop in KPOP idols community. Make sense because Bigbang esp GD & TOP are huge fan of Wu-Tang clan. Wu-Tang clan inspired them to be rapper & artists. Bigbang debuted with hip hop song. YG artists before were all hip hop artists like 1TYM (Teddy's group, (BP producer) & Epik High were hip hop groups & YG himself was hip hop artist. Till date YG songs are influenced by hip hop. Bigbang is the reason why many kpop idols wanted to debut as idols (claimed by many Korean &foreign kpop idols). Bigbang is the only kpop group who doesn't limit to so call idols image but they're the real artists which is why new kpoppies seems not able to manage BB free style life LOL. The only kpop group till date even after 15yrs in their career still on top and doesn't need fandom/VIPs to stream their songs or mass buy albums because GP love their music so they're on top when they released songs. Bigbang once said they're Asian so they have no intention to promote themself in Western countries. However still have western fans + those days social media or internet wasn't an easy access like today but they were huge. People can keep editing Bigbang & their individual wikepedia like the report said because of jelly but they cant remove the history anyway 💛 They'r called the "Emperor of kpop" for a reason.

One of the reasons why bigbang has always been targeted by the Korean media because they don't follow the rules. They are never like the other kpop groups. Actually they did try when they used to do choreos but each member's personality and aura are very strong and different yet unique. So they all do things their own ways. Bigbang was the only group who never wear the group/concept 'uniform'. If u discover older kpop, they used to make all members wear same shirt or coat, same colour is a must. Because of bigbang, other idols start to wear different stuffs even in the same group
