Try listening to G-Dragon - Divina Commedia, untitled 2014. Everybody says their fav artist is different but believe me G-Dragon is different, he was the youngest korean professional rapper till this day, has not released a song in last 8 years but still, the talk of the town, First kpop idol to write and produce songs, which are considered national hits songs, first asain male global ambassador for chanel, noting his achievements will take a whole day

GDragon has Too fast to live Too young to die tattoed on his body . Crooked was filmed in London and is inspiered by punk , Sex Pistols and Vivienne Westwood fashion. I hope you show it to your mother 😊. GD is one of the most creative minds on Earth and he always push the limits and searching for new ways to express . He could have had joined any music label but he took a risk and joined Galaxy. A tech unicorn company with some tv show program experience but specialised in AI , super IP . GDs eyes are always on the future . New Nike shoes are expected this year and everyone is curious what sound , form a music comeback will take .

Funny thing is if you watched the making of this, GD is actually very shy and sweet and when he had to to the bits of this MV where he is on the tables knocking things over he actually knocked a drink into a girls lap and he felt horrible and apologized immeaditly. The lyrics to most of G'S and BIGBANG's music are important because for them if a song is upbeat the lyrics are usually deep. They have just regular feel good songs also, Problem is GD does alot of korean word play in his and BIGBANG'S music and even other koreans have said if you dont speak the language sometimes you wont be able to fully understand it.

In contrast to the upbeat genre of the song, the lyrics tell of hopelessness and sadness, hence being care-less, from a previous love relationship so it's actually a very sad song.

"Crooked is all about attitude and mood. I can’t think of another K-pop song that better captures the idea of desperation and sadness hidden underneath puffed-up chest bravado. It’s a raucous-sounding track but far from a party. Instead, the chugging guitar and haunting siren synth give the impression of a character out of control in a swirling mess of a situation with no exit. G-Dragon isn’t known as a vocalist, yet his vocal tone is one of my favorites in all of K-pop. You can be the most amazing singer in the world, a technical marvel, but it won’t mean anything if you can’t convincingly convey emotion. It’s clear that a song has been perfectly produced when you can’t imagine anyone else singing it. With his gnarled delivery, he spits out the hip-hop verses with utter conviction, jeering and hissing until it culminates in that explosive chorus. It’s performance art in the best way, wrapped in a song that could easily stand on its addictive melody and production alone. Taken together, it’s game over. Crooked practically invented the modern template for angsty rock songs from YG artists, and no one’s been able to match its power yet. The bombastic, sky-high chorus is lifted straight from 80’s power rock but anchored in sadness and real emotion. It’s the rare track that can function both as a stadium sing-along and an intimate portrait of an artist’s frustration. “Propulsion” is a word I use quite often to describe my favorite songs… that forward movement and momentum that gives a song drive and a surging quality. That feeling is all over Crooked. Musically, it paints a picture of running through a frenzied city, of escape through endless action. It all culminates in that final, breakneck chorus where everything crashes down and the song collapses into darkness. It’s at once heartbreaking and liberating, and you kind of feel like you need a rest when it’s all over. It’s also a bit of a red herring in G-Dragon’s discography. The fact that no one explained what the song was abt and how it relates to the MV… Even though you’ve repeatedly asked yourselves and wondered out loud abt it throughout the video. I was interested by the many answers I was expecting to find in the comment section, so i tried going through the comments… The comments are abt how amazing he is, his achievements, impacts, requests for more, etc. Even little random details abt the mv, but no detailed explanations. I wonder if it is because the meaning is not as deep as in newer groups songs/mvs or because the fans themselves don’t know or remember. Interesting observation.

Lyrical translations cant really do ji’s lyrics justice. So much of it gets lost in translation. Part of the reason why he’s considered a genius among the korean public is because he’s lyrical genius. So many hidden meanings we can’t decipher unless we know all the ins and outs of hangul.
