Hi Mark! Always love your videos, mate. I am sad we don't have the Irish, but I feel bullish about the Boks' chances. Good luck to our Kiwi brothers! Love and respect from JHB, RSA.❤

@SoCalDreaming87 Hola everyone in Jo Burg today. Thanks so much for watching. Yes, me too as an avid fan, would had loved to see another clash with the Irish and SA....but we will get some great rugby across 21 games, so enjoy.

Great content, Mark. You have become one of my favorite KZbin rugby commentators. Interested in your cost of living and the lifestyle of an ex-pat in Mexico. Sanders, Michigan USA
@insiderugbywithmarkКүн бұрын
@sandersslevatz9543 thank you for the positive feedback, appreciate it. I absolutely love living in Mexico. Depending on what stage of life you are in, and what your interests are, I would say this place is up there and perhaps beyond most of the 9 countries I have lived in thus far. Cost of living is always linked to ones lifestyle, expectations and alike but Mexico has bargin cheap offerings as well as ultra high end living, take your pick pretty much. Healthcare is fantastic, people are brilliant, the country has so many contrasts from beaches, to mountains to valleys, and deserts.

I agree with you on the age issue Mark, and I agree Rassie knows he can't win 3 in a row with this group of players. I think as an experiment Rassie should start with next generation in matches in the northern tour in 2025. I'd pack the bench with veterans to close out matches.
@insiderugbywithmarkКүн бұрын
@clive4949 good point, lets enjoy the remainder of this year and see what Rassie then does in 2025. Enjoy the games.

I see the AB's are mixing up their team which is good. Some new combos and faces in the team. In Springboks case... i think Rassie is trying to give some lesser capped players more into the mix and im sure Rassie will have sacha and some newcomers more into the mix over the next few years. This year i guess is just to get the lower capped players more into the deep pool and getting game time. Andre Esterhuizen 18 caps, Gerhard steenekamp 8caps, Elrich Louw 10caps, Jan Hendrik wessels 3caps, Grant Williams 15caps, Jaden Hendriks 18 caps, Kurt lee 22caps,Apehelele fassi 9caps,Canan moodie 11caps, Ruan Nortje 6caps Building more depth and getting those players experience to the level when we reach 2027.. these players will be another 20 caps richer (the experience and building on those skills).

Hi Mark. Thanks for the video. Like you mentioned in 2025 more players will be used. This season he has used 47 players already. Next season the Springboks start with three home tests against Italy and Georgia. I think considering the travel cost for the Springboks it is much easier to blood young players at home. The only surprise for me is Wessles. I would have loved to see Wilco Louw in the squad. Wilco is probably our strongest scrummaging tighthead at the moment. Cammie will get his opportunity, brilliant player and only 22 years old.

Agree on Hanekom, Mark. Would have liked David Kriel in there too, but maybe next year. Kitsie is a huge loss, but the Golden Lions have a great replacement, forgot his name now maybe dimentia🙄😂. Damian Willemse is going to be the joker in this pack and will be a backup kicker for Libbok no matter what position he plays. RG Snyman is the inform lock now and was sublime the past weekend. He can create some havoc.
@insiderugbywithmarkКүн бұрын
@tobysmeiman6921 oh yes, Dvid Kriel is another for sure. thanks for that.

There has been no experimentation at inside and outside center. I'd love for de Allende, Kriel and Am to be rested and other centers to be given a run to show what they've got to offer the Boks.

I'm expecting this tour to be the last time we see Mapimpi, Reinach, Kock and possibly Willie Le Roux in the Bok jersey. I'm also surprised that Cam Hanekom and Wilco Louw didn't make the squad. Thanks for the great content and insights, Mark.
@blaquenguni924919 сағат бұрын
Reinach and Mapimpi could still be there next year, Willie is one of the most overrated players in the history of world rugby, he wasn't even good enough in 2019
