Texas game would have been much closer(possible win) if the Jags hadn’t gone 3 and out 3 times in a row to start the 3rd quarter and let N. Texas score 3 TD’s, 1 after each South 3 and out in the early 3 rd quarter. South was playing well in the first half and winning at halftime and after those 3-3 and outs South played well for the rest of the game. So they should be 3-1 instead of 2-2 and could be 4-0 if they hadn’t chocked against N. Texas in the first 3 possessions of the 3rd quarter.

And I'd argue that South Alabama is, at least over the last 3 years. We are currently 4-3 on non-Saturday games since the 2021 - 2022 season, 2-0 so far this season, with 2 more games this year not on Saturdays, 1 on a Tuesday vs Troy and the other on a Friday to end the season against Texas State.

Lopez seem to be the better of the Qbs, that first game with UNT should have been closer but the defense was in shock with the fast pace UNT, Applewhite copied that game and used it on APPSt but improved the defense. They get a break, then to LSU and this questionable defense. LSU will try not to go ball out since the next week they got Miss, Ark, TXAM and BAMA, they think S, Alabama is going to be scrimmage, that is how APP St played until it was too late.

Appalachian State problems begin with a coach who NEVER should have been hired in Shawn Clark. Unprepared, unmotivated teams. Now, this year, App State gets wiped out by the Jaguars, wiped out by Clemson, and isn't the same football program it was for 20 years under Moore, Satterfield, and Drinkwitz.

My first dynasty in CFB 25 was actually South Alabama. I'm not a South Alabama fan, I just figured I'd do a rebuild with them. By the time Gio Lopez went to the NFL he had like 250 touchdowns and won the Heisman every single year.

If Major can get some consistency in his QBs, they can win out including going to LSU, possibly upset and soften them up for Ole Miss. 5:00 he could have easily tackled him in other different ways because he has way more speed. This was completely intentional out of frustration. If I was a USA teammate I would have wanted to fight him. He could have easily injured him similarly to one of those hip drop tackled they banned.
