I'll tell you what Kyren Lacy was NOT doing, he wasn't blocking. Had he blocked early in that play the defender would never have been in position to make the play like he did. Caden Durham is providing to be better than I expected, he's only 5'9" and 205lbs or so, built like CEH was but so much faster! The kid has a body to run inside or outside and the speed to be really good. I think he runs like a 10.40 in the hundred meters! Now, Harlem Berry is the 5* #1 RB coming in next year with even more crazy track speed but is around 5'9" or so and only around 175-180lbs, he's not built like Durham and will be used as more like a 3rd down back, a scat back. We'll see when he gets here I guess

Yes, a rookie mistake. But was able to learn in Monday morning film room. Scores was in LSU FAVOR instead a close game with an Alabama, or Arkansas/Auburn. Those games are usually less than one score in deciding the game.

No he doesn't 😂. The man started his LSU stint off playing two true freshman tackles, and a true freshman TE. He added in a true freshman LB later in the year and started playing a true freshman corner as a backup. That first class they only had 15 people and most sucked outside of 4 guys. They brought in a ton of transfers because they had like 39 scholarship players when he got here.

​@@ghostwalker89 that's correct, he had to build out a roster when he got here because of this crazy transfer portal and he didn't do like Lincoln Riley and bring half of his roster from the previous school. He did things the right way and we should see results coming, with the current recruiting class, assuming we don't have any late surprises as far as losing any really highly rated players on or before signing day we should get much better immediately. We should greatly improve our talent level, with 4 or 5 five stars and several 4* kids coming from this current cycle, along with the likelihood of gaining some much needed help from the portal, things will be looking good for next season. Guess we'll have to wait and see lol

@@ghostwalker89 that was out of necessity not because he wanted to.We barely had enough players to field a team that year and most of the senior players either left for the draft or transferred when O left, At ND he always favored seniority. That was a common complaint of his by their fanbase. If a freshman was more talented , he had to sit while the other guy who's been there for ages got their turn because they "earned it"

He came in with half a team and because of the circumstances went against what he'd typically do. Now that the team is his, and has grown with him, he would tend to play seniors over freshman. Saying "oh he played a few freshmen over seniors" in a year where he could barely field a team isn't a good argument. Especially when it was an outlier in BK's coaching tenure.
