I had a short window to get some fishing in so I made a quick run over to Iowa for some fishing at South Bear. Luckily the rain held off and the fish were biting.

I like all the Iowa Driftless fishing videos you make. Binge watching them right now!

There are so many choices in the Driftless it's hard to narrow it down when I only have a day to fish. Hopefully the weather cooperates a bit more so I can get back there soon.

Not much better than an overcast drizzly day when the first leaves of spring are poppin'. Great video my dude. I recently moved to CO from VA and really miss the greenery of places like these sometimes. Grass is greener eh haha. I'd love to film and fish in this place! Thanks for sharing! Subbed and hoping for more Driftless vids.

Great video man. Get you some forceps to remove hook. Make it easier on you and the fish.

Looks like you were nymphing. What pattern? Ever use the Pink Squirrel? I’ve had good luck with that pattern on DA streams.

Hi Larry, I've heard a lot about the pick squirrel. I've tied some up to try out, hoping the work well

You could at least wet your hands before handling trout. This can damage the fish when you pick them up with dry hands.
