there are a bunch of parking garages where you need a permit but freshman year it's difficult to get one

Hello, my daughter is waiting on acceptance to sdsu, she too would like to be a nurse. how is life outside of college ? Is the surrounding area safe? What transportation do you use? Please help a worried mom out with these questions 🙏🏽 lol.

honestly i would say the areas right around campus isn’t necessarily the safest but depends who you ask. since the transportation system (buses,trolley etc.) is right on campus there tends to be a decent amount of homelessness in that area. for my personal transportation i have taken the trolley or my friends cars :)
