Although I have yet to meet Dawn (soon), I definitely have to admit she has impact my life in many ways. Although I played many sports in my neighborhood, watching Dawn play sparked my interest and LOVE for basketball. I first saw her in 96' playing in the Olympics (ATL). That did a GREAT deal for me and helped me find my passion for what I LOVE most. And for that I thank her and God for the inspiration. Every chance I get I mention it other players, coaches and just people in general.

I known Dawn Staley since she was twelve years old playing in the boy's league in philly and she was tough and to see her accomplishments is great to see. There were other talented female players in Philadelphia that could really play and were better than Dawn, but Dawn Staley Mamba mentality is definitely different and HBCUS could use Dawn Staley to help rebuild HBCUS Economic infrastructure and the black community .
