Well if Clemson loses game 1 then it won't be and if SCar isn't ranked high week 1 then it definitely won't be a top 5 matchup. Schedule won't give them time to climb the ranks that much if they aren't ranked high and others aren't ranked high to provide the jumps in the AP polls.

The cfb playoffs are screwed… Carolina had the same record as clemson and beat clemson but carolina didn’t get in and clemson did 🤣 makes no sense. On top of all that Carolina is in a WAYYY harder conference, that proves they spend been in over clemson. Doesn’t make sense to put in conference champions when teams in other conferences are better, the whole point of CFB playoffs is to see who is the best in the nation, winning your weak conference shouldn’t put you in. Moving forward the small schools like clempson are going to have a tough time hanging with the large rich state schools like Carolina. There is a big difference in the size of the alumni and fan bases. Carolina has always been one of the 15 richest programs in the country. Now if they can stop shooting themselves in the foot the sky is the limit.
