LaNorris runs a 4.4 forty... just sayin'. As a Gamecock fan I could not be more excited for next season. Sellers improved pretty much every game last year and I think the improvement could be even greater next year. Nyck Harbor improved *immensely* in the 2nd half of '24 - it started with his blocking (he turned out to be one of the best blocking WRs in the SEC by the end of the season) then his route running and his comfort catching the ball with his hands got a ton better. Sellers can be really, really special but he needs some help from the WRs in getting open and knowing when to adjust on scramble plays (like Josh Simon last year) and that takes building relationships where each guy knows what the other is going to do in certain situations. The big news is that Harbor is forgoing track this year to concentrate on football (he has never gone through spring practice before). His athleticism and ability combined with a full year of football should be huge because Sellers and Harbor are tight off the field. Finally, the incoming FR WR class at Carolina is LOADED. I figure at least one of the FR can step up and make a significant impact. And while I don't want to see Sellers risk injury, his impact as a runner just can't be ignored. Ashton Jeanty, according to PFF, was tops in the country with 20 forced missed tackles in one game last year. Sellers had 18 in his game vs Clemson, and that's the most by a QB ever since PFF started if I am not mistaken (10-15 years). Love the breakdown - I have been subbed for quite a while. Thanks for the love to LaNorris Sellers and the Gamecocks in general !
