Nice session mate, question though. Wouldn’t you prefer using the shallow spool version of the TD black? I’ve been told they suit finesse better and cast slightly further due to the design of the spool.

Every other reel that I own in this class is a shallow spool for finess fishing. I pick this deep spool up for a cheap price so spooled it up with heavier braid than I would normally run for the type of fishing that I do. I mostly up the leader on this reel when chasing bigger flatties. The shallow spool I think does cast better and is what I would recommend

I launched at the boat ramp. Maybe you need to go back and watch the parts where I tell you what lures I’m using in detail 😜. The description of the video also tells you 🏆
