We have a great weekend exploring and camping we manage to fit the Landcruiser under a down tree to continue our journey, to turn around would be a long backtrack and a few tracks were shut for a rally. Boiler and traction engine type of thing. Run belts off the top I think.One similar at Daisy Plains Oxley Wild River Ntl Park ,west of Kempsey, right near the Carrai Road and another 100 mtrs in the scrud to the west. Thats my 20 cents worth!!!!!

As much as I admire the effort gents, I have to say, I don't condone in digging up a perfectly good track so you can pass, if turning back is an option. 'Coz in the next heavy downpour, what you've dug up there can cause erosion and/or start a washout and muddy ruts in that part. What would have been a better plan is to weaken the tree trunk with your chainsaw by cutting out V notches (one each on opposite sides), then use your winch(es) to break it in half, then cont. pulling it out of the way.

Yeah mate point taken , I suppose that’s a downfall of electric chainsaws because i would never get through it
