I apologize for the horrible audio mixing in this video. This was the first time I tried this editing style out, I will do better in the future!

At 13:06 that reminded me so much of the May 31st 2013 El Reno Tornado!!! Also at 16:20 when you zoomed in and the Sun was visible right beneath the base, man oh man is that ever a beautiful shot! I don't think I can remember a single Storm chaser that ever caught the sunset like that! That should be made as an image and Printed for a frame or something. Once in a lifetime kind of shot I believe!!! Great work!!!

For the best effect, please watch this video with headphones. Here is my video of the tornado that happened in near Mound City South Dakota on August 8th 2024. My brother Michael and I witnessed this incredible almost stationary supercell that rotated into the night sky. This is our combined footage of the events and tornados that occurred this day. If you would like to check out my brothers storm chasing channel, you may do so here: MesoMedia_YT youtube.com/@mesomedia_yt?feature=shared

This was a scary one for sure. We live 10 miles south and when it turned south and the sirens sounded it was tense. We are a small town that is very thankful there wasn't much damage or anyone hurt.

The lighting was crazy. I could see it from about 9pm until 4am.

Okay, just as a suggestion as a fellow storm chaser: front & rear view dash cam. The dang things are worth every penny & the shots you might be able to get make it too good an idea to pass up. Added bonus is it acts as a anti-theft device so your auto insurance will give you a discount to boot.

Also extra visibility and awareness if there's a storm behind.

I really like that suspenseful background music/track, especially in the beginning. I wish I knew if this had a name.

I'd also be willing to bet that if you had the proper view and lens, you would be able to capture some Sprites as well
