A day at the South Devon Railway with footage captured at Totnes Riverside and Buckfastleigh Station also including the footage of the shed. Captured on Wednesday 17th July 2024.

Glorious scenery around this railway!! It’s very similar to that at the Epping Ongar Railway, at which I volunteered for three years!!

How glorious to see a 51xx Prairie Tank locomotive being used properly. They obviously know how to use it without blowing it!!

Hi Tony. Ain't these station's fantastic places taken us back to when life was a lot slower. Must have been great to be around then. So peaceful aswell. You've certainly packed plenty in. Just a heads up for you Tim Geaney has put a vlog on KZbin about the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway ( La'al ratty) He was at Carlisle the same day we met you. It's a part railway and walking vlog. Malcolm and Sheila from Workington. PS Like you're low level shots.

Very nice indeed! SDR certainly didn’t disappoint! Really good railway. Oh yes I saw that he’s done a video of that railway. I will probably check that out tomorrow. Just been very busy sorting through videos and photos taken last week! I will be heading to Ravenglass and Eskdale in a couple of weeks time! I just hope the weather is nice on the day!
