South Devon roads are interesting - The start of our 2 week hols, but we start with a big problem!

I've had to negotiate those roads in our previous caravan a few times and they're never easy. Once you've got as far as Start Bay it's worth taking a look a the Camping and Caravan site at Slapton along the road past Torcross. It's a wonderful site with beautiful sea views and a short walk into Slapton village which has a couple of good pubs which are well worth a visit. Not sure when we'll be back because we have an 8ft wide caravan now and my wife won't risk it even though I'd be driving! :)

There lies another story - I had to take it to my local "autowindscreens" after the Plymouth lad couldn't fi & then when they could "re-calibrate" either It ended up at VOLVO (no extra cost) just 3 extra visits

Just out of curiosity what rear view camera have you mounted. Great clear footage. Have been procrastinating for far too long over which to buy. Sorry to hear about your windscreen, there’s always something challenging before you set off.

I love that part of the world, but it's certainly not caravan friendly. So many sites are in almost unreachable places. I guess it has to be that way for them to be nice sites. I'd certainly moan if they were right next to dual carriage ways. Easy to access but bloody noisey!
