South Holston Houdini's - Morristown Marine #2 - 3.18.23

The chasing ghosts series has lived up to its name this year as the Morristown Marine Team Trail continued to throw us curve balls. The first of the five TN Winters, Red Bud Winter, rolled in and smacked the smallmouth that were staging further back in the pockets right in the mouth. Snyder and managed a limit, but still didn't make the adjustments later in the day that needed to be made in order to upgrade. The fly boated all of our keeper bites and Fish Dam was good to us.

Good job, We got 9th in this one with 17.74, caught ours on a swimbait out of bait balls

Nice catch brother, we are going to devote more time and commitment to the deep bite. You need the perfect scenario to compete with it shallow anytime before April.

I know around that time we were having to let the jerkbaits sit literally for 5-8 seconds before jerking to get a bite, but we went out two days in a row and had 19.2 and 22.4

@@TNCBAOutdoors it’s so hard for me to, I literally have to talk to myself and tell myself to slow down , we got a tournament there on April 9th hope to maybe see some magdraft fish in trees or spawning fish
