@khushalwadhawan89324 жыл бұрын
There is no hatred against Brahmins. There is contention against recognizing cast, something which our constitution aims to abolish to suppress institutional racism, rather than anything personal against the man or his family. The moment we start associating cultural values with caste, we take the first step towards caste-based discrimination. Hence its all right for us to be proud of our geographical roots, being a Tamilian in this case, but not of our caste, being a "Tam Brahm". For perspective, imagine a video of a White old dude saying he is proud of being a white restaurant owner for 20 minutes. Your perception towards that might be very different.
@ashkrish75373 жыл бұрын
@@khushalwadhawan8932 But a black person can say he is proudly black. Looks like history is being used as a tool to appease the previously disadvantaged group. It is Funny how Panjabie food is labeled as “ Indian food”. After partition of 1947, many landless Sikhs started roadside restaurants/ Dhabas and many dishes were invented to feed the trucking Industry that also after partition was dominated By Landless Sikhs.

Just some food for thought for all those who feel everything is fine with this video: There is no hatred against Brahmins here.

All the people bashing Brahmins and calling them Oppressors elitists etc. I’m sorry you aren’t proud of your culture and ancestors like some Brahmins are. I’m sorry you hate your caste and culture and you feel inferior and project it as if you are being oppressed by Brahmins even now. Today’s Brahmins aren’t responsible for what our ancestors did just like how you guys shouldn’t feel victimised because your forefathers didn’t have enough balls to unite and end such bad systems. Ever heard of French Revolution, American civil war, Russian revolution? Even better struggle for Indian independence? See in those cases people united, revolted and ended bad systems in society. Why didn’t you “oppressed” people unite with other fellow “oppressed” people and revolt and end such system? The whole upper caste lower caste thing went on for at least 2000 years right? Sounds like your forefathers were quite ok with it if they let it go on for so long. If anything you guys should be mad that your forefathers who say around and did nothing about it except cry about it. Hey fun fact.... there were and still are caste systems in Europe and misfile east and other parts of Asia. They didn’t sit around and cry about how much they got oppressed how badly they are victimised. They took responsibility of their own lives and moved ahead in life. Another fun fact.... Blacks in America have been thought unimaginable things during Atlantic slave trade and slavery that went on for 400 years. They didn’t sit around crying. They too took responsibility and moved ahead in lives... the best athletes, musicians, singers, directors, music stars, scientists etc are blacks. And those rich ones get racially profiled and they still don’t play victim. Another fun fact no2 - Brahmins were only scholars and priests.... ruling class were Khshatriyas and other castes.... they enabled this whole upper caste lower castes thing. How about you shove some of your “ballsless victim card” down their throats too?

End of the day it's about business , money and power, if Vedas were made available to other castes, the services of Brahmins priests wouldn't be necessary. It's this monopoly and certain rituals to be performed exclusively by these priests has to go. It's like if ios becomes open source, who will buy I phones? Brahmins monopoly has done more damage to Hinduism than any good, and other religions are very well taking advantage of that. If Hinduism perishes this will be the reason, mark by words. Foolishness for selfish reasons of Brahmins will potentially destroy this great faith . Evolve or perish.
@uknowmotdy6 жыл бұрын
In corporate world or engineering, Brahmins would make sure they promote or hire their own community over other castes,given an opportunity, it's open secret, who are you fooling?
@srividyarao78206 жыл бұрын
Ross business money and power? You think priests and scholars has money? What a truck load of bullshit. You think priests today have any money? Apart from 1% of priests most of them barely get by. And what were ruling class people doing when other caste people weren’t allowed to read Vedas? Why can’t you answer that? Btw priests have been so poor from many decades they find it tough to get brides to marry. They go to remotest places of north India to get brides.
@srividyarao78206 жыл бұрын
Ross I’m aware that some people have done that. But this casteism and giving preference to one’s own caste and community people exists in all castes. Not just Brahmins. Also no one has suffered and lost everything as much as Brahmins because of caste reservation bullshit.
@uknowmotdy6 жыл бұрын
@@srividyarao7820 I am talking about the situation for centuries the Brahmin monopoly keeping the Vedas exclusively for themselves, which has crippled the evolution, distribution of knowledge and caused stagnation of the society. Even today with tax evasion, without income tax priests live far better lives than professionals, I am sure you have some sort of Udupi connection, then you already know the modus operandi , not saying everyone is prosperous, perhaps lack of marketing skills lol. It seems as long as you belong to the exclusive club, why worry ,Hinduism can go to the dogs, who cares?
