We stayed at a nice little place called Marula Lodge which is just outside the national park on the banks of the Luangwa river, game drives in the park were truly spectacular and magical!!

Malama Umoyo camp is just 10km from the Lusangazi gate and within the Game Mgt Area where lots of these animals roam freely. An ideal location for anyone who wants a remote and exclusive camp at a very affordable rate.

Matthias Fäh - IMHO - Super, but add Nth Luangwa NP aswell and spread your Stays over 3/4 Camps or Lodges (never do the novice thing of 1/2 nights as you are constantly packing/unpacking & wasting time on transfers). The closer you are to Mfuwe, the more traffic, Safari vehicles and people there are. Walking Safaris are our favourite component
