SOUTH Movies vs BOLLYWOOD: Never Ending Debate?

These debates do not matter. My opinion is that Pan India is just a selling or a marketing point for any movie today. Movies become Pan Indian either because of inclusivity in casting and creating that vision or when the content is really something which entire Indian audience or most of the audience connects with irrespective of whether it is a Hindi or any other regional language movie. If you really see in that case Kalapaani was one of the first Pan Indian movies with actors across all industries yet being a global movie. Guru another Malayalam movie is an example. People did not market it back then. Its just like when a Samsung Note or Fold series releases; it gets more attention than a Galaxy or A series. Producers have this as a marketing tactic and use it to promote every movie as Pan Indian which is not the case. If the content connects irrespective of budget or actors or language; it is going to be Pan Indian.
