South Mumbai street food Episode 3 | Indian street food

This video is part 3 of Street food series of South Mumbai, India. I got opportunity to eat Basundi, Rabri. Sev khamani, Lassi and many other things in this food journey.
Mumbai offers lot of food cuisines that are from Maharashtra and from other parts of India, This street food journey has some food from other parts of India as well

This food journey was done for the geographic area Fort to Dadar.
Summary of food joints visited by me with their addresses and prices of dish that i had is given below for your ready reference.
Day 4
1.Sheera and poha in breakfast: This is a street food, sellers sets up stall at Modi street morning from 7 am to 10 am. Price of one plate of combo poha with sheera is Rs 10.
2.Bajji: This shop is 10 shops away from Chitra cinema towards Dadar E circle.
3. Dabeli: This street food seller is in Hind mata area… about half a km from chitra cinema on opposite lane.. you ask any one about the famous Dabeli seller and you will be guided to this seller.
4.Parsi Dairy Farm; This is almost a 100 year old shop, famous for pure dairy products. I I enjoyed the following at this shop

Rabri 130g - Rs. 84
Milk Drops 150g - Rs. 140

5.Sainath Roxy Snacks: Famous for sev khamani, shop is open from 9 am to 5 pm, or till stocks lasts. Owner gets sev khamani from surat every day, sold at cheape price, dish is good to enjoy as a snack

6. Yadav Fast Food centre: This is also a 50 year old shop, sells many fast food items, i enjoyed Mumbai authentic bhelpuri at this place.

7. Kailash Lassi: This shop is a landmark in itself, visited by hundreds of people every day. Location of this shop is right outside Dadar East station.

8.. Saddal Bhel Puri: I found this shop at khau gali, which is near Chruchgate, in fact this khau gali is between churchgate and CSMT station. There were many other shops at this place but i wanted to have Bhelpuri so i explored this shop.

Falooda at Crawford Market means it has to be from Badshah. Let me give you a review before hand. Its fantabulous and definitely a must visit. Baadshah special will blow you away. The Dabeli location shown here belongs to my cousin brother. Very proud to see it deservingly getting listed here. Its authentic Kutchi Dabeli and as suggested they are in the business for 25 years. And the masala is prepared with lot of hard work and passion. After eating Dabeli, have kulfi in the shop next to it. That is excellent as well. Of course its not suggested in this video. But if you are doing a kulfi review, you can include that shop.

Sirji j saw your videos of visit to Mumbai. I feel you haven't been to the best of places which serve Vada Pav, the most popular dish in Mumbai. These road side stall are found in every nook and corners, small Gallia of Mumbai. Vada Pav, Bhajiya Pav, Samosa Pav or plain Samosa. Then there is Dal Pakwan which is a Sindhi dish and you get the best Dal Pakwan in Ulhasnagar. Would suggest you make another trip to Mumbai. I will be more than glad to accompany you and help you experience all these places which offer the best servings. Feel free to contact me whenever you visit Mumbai.
