Thank you for this insight! My SN is conjunct an ex-lover's Chiron, and when we separated we could not stop crying and it felt like a part of my heart was breaking. The longing OMG... We met very quickly, stayed together very quickly in our own world as if we knew each other. Our souls spoke a language. I live in the US and he lives in South America where I was born. Nice video Britney. Lot of deep and holistic truth, thank you. And I agree, whether in relationships or within ourselves, the South Node only becomes negative when we stay overly stuck in those energies and aren't balancing/integrating them with our North Node, Sun, and Mid-heaven patterns (these are the most strong/highlighted "becoming" factors in a chart). I'm rather deeply and holistically intuitive and often pick up information about people's other life experiences and influences (lot's of astro signatures related, but too many to mention). I have had only two great loves of my life so far. In one, which is a stable, long term relationship of 18 years, her North Node is in my 1st and South Node in my 7th and near my Venus--involving same respective Signs. My North Node is in her 7th and my South Node in her 1st, though a different Sign (my South Node is very, very early Pisces and her Ascendant is very, very late Capricorn). She is my Twin Soul--we have had many different experiences together, and originally were part of the same larger Spirit self before we split and started to incarnate in the material/polarized-imbalance dimension. The other great love of my life (my partner and I have an open option, though I stayed away from it for many years until I met this person I will be talking about), well my South Node is near her Descendant and her South Node is conjunct my Mid-heaven. The problem is that she has experienced intense childhood trauma and because of that, she has a lot of defenses (and rage and fear towards men). Her personality self doesn't ever want to let another man ever have any power, influence, or control over her. And so she doesn't allow herself to get emotionally close to men (which is really tough on me, because in some ways, I'm wired more like a woman). She stays very detached and extremely independent. She is more like a stereotypical, hyper masculine man in that sense. Yet, part of her longs for deep connection and holistic intimacy. However, suffice to it say, from both experience and our Synastric and composite chart comparison, there is intense mutual attraction on all levels between us (for one very brief example, we have 3 Venus Mars oppositions--2 Synastric and 1 composite, and Mars is the faster moving ruler of her Sun, Moon, and 8th House Signs and is almost exactly conjunct my Ascendant (and opposed my Venus). Her Venus is in my 8th and almost exactly trine my Uranus (ruler of my 7th). My Virgo N. Node, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn are all in her 1st or near her Ascendant, and generally opposed (not all in direct aspect, but Mars and Saturn are) her Venus Saturn conjunction in my 8th. I'm rather aware of our other experiences together, particularly in Egypt (which my Soul had it's last earthly experience during*). Then she was the last of my companions, and was the only thing at that time that was keeping me to the Earth. We experienced a merging in that life that few human personalities, as humans, ever experience--for we did very conscious energy work together involving the body, mind, and Soul aspects and we were both very consciously aware of the nonphysical/the infinite. Yet, I still left the Earth, and left her. I didn't really have to, it was lack of Love on my part towards my fellow humans in general, even though I was unusually loving. This forced separation caused her some definite pain and sense of abandonment. It wasn't easy on me either, though I felt I had to go. And now I got to experience it in turn. After I wrote her a poetic metaphorical short story about her journey towards healing, Love, and Source re-merging, she coldly cut me completely off. I was chipping away at those stony walls around her heart (symbolized by her Venus Saturn conjunction), and she couldn't take it. She has convinced herself that she is in love with a man with autism and that he is her soulmate. It is because he is the ultimate in SAFE for her emotionally and physically. He's even more disconnected from his emotions than she. He will never challenge her and never chip away at those walls around her heart. Maybe to some extent, that is what she needs now. I may have been too forceful or intense at times. But I feel like it's not done. I'm hoping that after she heals herself, she will realize what a deep and powerful Soul and Love connection we have. But she needs to get on this, there isn't a lot of time left in this life for this (BIG changes coming in the near to nearish future), which is probably why she had a dream that she was in a class with advanced/mature students older than herself, and that she was falling behind. I recently received some information that she and my core partner of 18 years, might be two different, but connected Souls from the same half of our larger Spirit. If that's the case, that would make her my Twin Soul as well. Such a bond is not truly breakable. * I've learned that there are two types of reincarnations. The most common is where our half of the larger, Spirit/vast Light Being self, splits itself up into MANY freewilled Souls while retaining it's original self awareness (pulling sort of a microcosmic act of the Source at the beginning), and projects these parts of itself, these Souls, into various different time/space and other dimensional slots. What is more rare but can and does happen at times, is that an individual Soul lives a physical lifetime, and after spending time in the nonphysical, decides to directly dive in again. It's probably more rare because of how difficult these human earth lifetimes can be and often are, and no one knows that better than a Soul who has already been directly through it. Especially the older and more sensitive a Soul becomes, the more time they tend to spend in the nonphysical and only come in for service and retrieval work/projects. I'm a direct reincarnation of a Soul of my larger Spirit self that lived in Egypt. My 2nd beloved may also be a direct reincarnation of a Soul that shared that Egyptian experience with me. It's not unusual for our half of our Spirit's to have more than one Soul self going on in this cycle. There are so many bodies available and it's such an important cycle, that it's very common actually. I've met two other Souls incarnated that are part of the same Spirit as I am (in the direct sense, not in the Twin Soul sense). My core partner has had dreams about two other selves of her Spirit that are also in this same time/space cycle. Who knows how many Souls our Spirit's have going on in this unusual cycle. Apologies for the long post, hard to keep it short when one has Mercury trine Jupiter with less than a degree of separation, and with Jupiter in the 1st closest planet to the Ascendant and Mercury rules the Sign Jupiter is in, and Mercury is widely conjunct the Sun, ruler of the chart/Ascendant. So, so much perception and information and it just flows out like water at times.

Warning: long story... synastry South node connection are between asterisks *** I just found out the guy I believe could be my twin flame and I have several S Node in our synatry map. we look like twin siblings. funny is that we work together sometimes. I'm a flight attendant and he is a pilot. We met on my first trip. He was leaving the aircraft and I was boarding. He saw my name on the next flying crew schedule and he waited to meet me. We found out we grew up in the same area between borders of Argentina Brazil. We met in the USA... Working for the same airline. we became best friends instantly. I couldn't forget him after the first brief conversation... like obsessing trying to find him again. We were based in the west coast but met on the East coast. None of us lived in the state we were based. I work with dozens of thousands of crew. Later we reconnected and we became like a guru-student relationship and siblings at the same time. Our coworkers who see us together always ask if we are siblings. Same facial features and shapes, same smile, same shape of teeth same flawed shape on the same side of the lips, same pupils and eyes. Funny I was never attracted to his physical type. So I wasn't sure why this attraction. it doesn't feel sexual but it feels like a huge love and need to be near him. I admire him like no one else in this planet. He is the one I want to call when something huge happens, when I need to make a major decision or when a dear friend is diagnosed with cancer. He is married and respectful to his marriage, which makes me admire him even more. His wife saw our exchange of emails and messages and she asked him to stop talking to me. I have 16 major aspects between my N and S nodes and my husbands. I have never heard of the opposite in natal falling on the others nodes and past karmic lessons. We are like super-glue. The kind the doctor can't get off even though you so desperately want to 'unjoin/get the glue off'. God it makes so much sense. My Saturn is opp my Sun conjunct his NN. This is also conjunct my BM Lilith (his Saturn is conjunct here too). I just found out someone I've been speaking with has his ASC & Juno exactly conjunct my North node and his Moon/Venus/DESC are all piling up on my Saturn/South node. Right now it's just by phone but his picture really haunted me and when we spoke, we had such a deep connection right away. The ASC/North node connection gives me more hope - I have had this before and it has been very positive - the universe seems to pave the way for you to be in the same place, same time. However, I guess something else could show up in the mix to throw that off.

I find it interesting that you equate the planet person with the feeling of comfort. I would think it would be the other way around. The SN is where one is coming from = comfort. The planet person may relate to the energy of the sign, but it would be no more comfortable then in any other planetary conjunction interaspects. I'm speaking specifically about the comfort aspect. Also I think the SN would be effected much more than you state. I recently had an interaction with someone: My Venus in Libra conjuncts my NN, his Mars in Libra conjuncts his SN, my NN conjuncts his SN, my Venus conjuncts his Mars. Pulling in different directions but very powerful (also backed up with other similar themes by signs/houses/aspects, ie. Venus Mars 1st house 7th house). I also find that most natal charts will back up their natal NN/SN energies in some prominent way or another.

So I was super interested after watching this video to see if there were any south node conjunctions within my relationships/family/etc. and, to no surprise, there were a few....but I left with a lot more questions than answers lol. In particular, my sister-in-law has her South node conjunct my niece's jupiter and then my niece's south node conjunct my sis-in-law's mercury....since there are two separate south node conjunctions in their synastry, does this mean they have multiple past lives together? My SN conjuncts this persons Mercury/Mars, trines with his Neptune AND has an opposition to his Pluto. His SN is also in opposition to my Mercury. I'd be surprised if you reply to this comment but just in case you can, I am wondering what you think about my inquiry. I just had a daughter who is a couple months old now, and she has her Sun, Moon, and Midheaven around 28 degrees Scorpio which is where my South Node is. I also have a stellium in Scorpio with my Moon, Venus, Pluto and Saturn being there. Her Jupiter is more closely conjunct my triple conjunction which are near the beginning of Scorpio and her Venus conjunct my Saturn in the middle. anyway, her father and I are both Libra Sun signs. additionally if it matters, my Ascendant is at the end of Pisces so it trines her Scorpio conglomeration. if you feel like it I would love to know how you think her Sun and Moon being conjunct the Midheaven means and how that'll manifest differently than those strong placements normally would

Hi Saskia I have had both, and am sorry to hear about that. were there 12th house aspects? Because the SN is the energy we have come from it is easy for us to draw upon it, its natural to us, and that can sometimes mean it can be a) taken for granted, and given away thoughtlessly or b) used selfishly for manipulation or gain. Perhaps this person was in the end a great teacher and was a representation of what abuse of the SN fruits can look like , or a reminder not to leave our SN completely behind as we grow and strive to our NN. Im sorry you still feel so strongly towards them, they have their lessons to learn in this lifetime as well. The best thing about moments of pure Love (universal not romantic) is when you're offered even a sip from its cup, you are indifferent to all else, there is no hate because nothing matters, theres no fear because there is no doubt.
