I think you already know about O.J. Simpson lol. 20:26 - The Gooble Gobble thing is a reference to the movie "Freaks." 18:04 - The old man and his explanation of the cursed road with the murders and death is a reference to "Pet Semetary."

What's interesting is that DNA evidence came out in 2008 that almost certainly exonerated the Ramseys. Matt and Trey actually apologized for this episode after that, and said they regret their accusations in this episode. Maybe the only episode I've heard about that Matt and Trey directly regret.
