Dude this is real life for me. My brother and I bought rock band which is the guitar and drums, bass and mic and we’d get together and play in our basement. Dad came down and was watching us. He played the drums his whole life. Had a “band” in HS and stuff. He couldn’t play at all on rock band so made a point to go back out and buy a drum set and played that shit for 6-7 months. Lol he can really play though

"Chasing the dragon" is a euphemism for being addicted to heroin and opium. Originally, it was used specifically as a stereotypical slur against Chinese influence in the US and UK, through use of lucrative opium dens. Then when heroin took over; being made from opium, opium being made from poppy plants, it was used for heroin instead. The Chinese Dragon being symbolic of the people of China.

Especially with heroin, the feeling is meant to be pure bliss - but this bliss gradually diminishes, in a life that is usually pretty grim already, so... the users find themselves always "chasing the dragon" never able to catch it.

guitar hero was a legendary series bro. i watched a super interesting video on how it died out, along with the rock band series. basically, too many knockoff games like "Band Hero" came along and they all had to bid on the popular rock songs, so no game could get a decent setlist going as the years went on. also interest in rhythm games just sorta died out eventually, like everything else does great music choices with the edits btw

I recently tried to get back into Guitar hero. Clone Hero is a free version for pc which is exactly like it but better. You can play on keyboard but that is not much fun for me so the biggest issue is getting a guitar controller these days!
