The square wheels are nonsensical on the surface level, but really think about what these vehicles also imply: that Canada has a home-grown automotive industry. As a car guy, that’s just hilarious to me. In the real-world, Canada has of course had auto factories, but they’ve always been owned by foreign manufacturers (mostly American and Japanese), and they produce pretty much the exact same stuff that we get south of the border (the only real difference in most cases being a KPH speedo instead of an MPH one). In the past, you’d see Canada-exclusive stuff like the Frontenac, those weird Chevrolet/Pontiac hybrids, and Ford trucks rebadged as Mercurys, but they were still largely based on regular American vehicles. Canada will still occasionally get a car from one of the Japanese brands that we don’t, like the Acura CSX or the XP10 Echo hatch (aka, the Blueberry from “Psych”, which was filmed in British Colombia), but again, nothing that different. The closest thing Canada has ever had to a homegrown automaker was Bricklin, and even that was mostly an American effort (kind of like Delorean, they were really just taking advantage of a job shortage in New Brunswick). Knowing all of that, this idea that the Canada on the show has all of these weird boxy cars with square wheels running around that (presumably) Canadian companies designed and built themselves is really funny. It’d be like showing Americans winning the FIFA World Cup, or a French guy drinking a Budweiser.

At this point in the series Ike was voiced by Trey's 4 year old daughter. They would tell her the line, say it with her repeatedly together and then one time they wouldn't say it with her and they'd record it. The difference was that with Will & Kate a lot of what they had to work with was rumor. So it was fanciful & silly bc they were not working with facts. But with Harry & meg, they were dealing with truth. It’s true that they claimed to want privacy from the media then decided to spill the tea using none other than the… media. They are always complaining & whining, meg claims she’s an advocate for women & women’s rights but she’s been accused of bullying…women. Harry claims he wants to live in privacy & he hates the media for interfering yet HE is the one who spilled secrets on his family to the media that were unnecessary & all for money. They do everything for a brand & are very one dimensional. South Park nailed this truth of harry and his wife.
