I’m from a third world country myself and the poorest people have the most kids. Some women have 10 kids or more. Some of the reasons are: 1-education. The women are dependent on the men, and the men are not sexually educated. No self control, and prefer it raw than being protected. 2- lack of work. For some reason, in countries like these, sex is a coping mechanism along with alcohol. In developed countries, you are thought to plan for your future where in countries like ours, it’s about pure luck for most people. The only thing a woman has to offer is their bodies is what the belief is, and the men have a warped sense of responsibility. All that together, and there you have it

We traveled to Mozambique in 2004 those in Quisanga and Whimby beach. On Ibo island the few who spoke English told me most people and including children went to bed hungry. At that time few Americans if any travel there. Years of civil war had left the country in tatters. We traveled with Wildlife Adventure and met so many hungry people. They begged us to take them home with us to America. It was heartbreaking. Only one American I met there was a missionary from Cincinnati. He explained that the vast majority of young adults had died from AIDS. They had more than 300 children in their orphanage who without the missionary’s would be homeless and fending for themselves following the death of both of their parents.

They should adapt. Why isn't someone training them. They have the key element, WATER. Floating foam sheets with planters can grow food in that water. Stock the flooded plains with fish. Grow rice is shallows and add crawdads, delicious. Come on folks, they need training on how to adapt. Adaptation doesn't seem to be goal of bureaucracy.

The only thing they've ever done is adapt. The people in south Sudan are refugees from North Sudan that had to figure out a way to rebuild and protect their children from the scumbags that come in and killed their men, try and kidnap their children to turn them into warriors and then rape the women. They've never had help all they do is survive. Few private organizations have helped them through the years. Unfortunately they need a filtration system that they can't afford.

No. Not in the countries these people live in. This has been like this for years. Climate change or no climate change. Since I was a little girl, missionaries have been asking for donations for countries like Sudan. I know one missionary that would actually drill wells so that people could have clean running water because their own country wouldn’t do it for them.

C'mon ppl... We are growing vegetables in air these days we also grow food in straight water - soil is no longer absolutely necessary... You should be sending these ppl seeds and piping and tubing and TEACHING these ppl to grow hydroponically.
