South Wales Roadtrip | Pembrokeshire & Brecon Beacons | Van Life Wales

Hi friends! We’re finally back with another episode in our pre-Ady UK travel series and the second part of our epic Wales roadtrip!
In this video, we’re continuing down the stunning Welsh coastline and hitting up some sandy Pembrokeshire beaches before heading inland to the vast Brecon Beacons mountain range.
The highs include finding some incredible park ups, taking on some epic hikes and riding a 125 year old train. The lows involve a grand total of zero puffin sightings and an incident with our toilet on a hot summer's day.

I found u guys a couple weeks ago worked my way thru the van build and enjoyed every one of them so figured I’d continue to watch the travel vlogs and honestly I’m loving these so much more!!! As for the baked potatoes cut x like Sarah but u are all missing the trick of cheese then beans then cheese on top! Odd red do one even better and top the spuds with chilli con carne and cheese 🤤

Hari OM I am in the Jay-potato camp! (And I'd eat at Chez Jay any day - as a vego, those bean meals hold great appeal!!!) It was a bit of a wait, but thoroughly enjoyed this quick tour of your Welsh trip - apart from Hay-On-Wye and nearby, I've not explored that part of these isles. Enjoyed looking round Wales with you. My wife is from Fishguard and we’ve travelled around Wales a lot but you took us to places we didn’t know. Waterfalls. BTW a mountain is at least 2500 meters. Although a Welsh mountain is pretty much any hill x. Love your videos and will enjoy watching your videos with the 3 of you all whenever you’re ready xxx

Welcome! Glad you're enjoying the vids. Your potatoes sound correct 😆 The curries are usually always different but I tend to start with a base of onions, ginger, garlic and chillis then add spices like cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, chilli powder, cloves - whatever takes my fancy!

Do yourself a big favour and get a Bivvy loo and dispose of the bags in dog bins. Use Pee bottles (5 litre water bottle from any supermarket) and tip that away at public toilets. No smell, no hassle and no need to go to a campsite.

Yeah that sounds like a good solution, we were considering going down the compost toilet at some point. We do have pee bottles too. Either way we’d still need to go to a campsite to empty the grey tank and fill up the water.

💕There’s a liquid you can add to those portable loo’s that kills all smells💕You could also try p ing in a bottle💕WOMEM CAN USE a thing called a female urination device (get the flexible ones) they sell them on Amazon💕I gave my doctor a funny look when he told me But don’t knock it until you’ve tried it💕Better than dropping your draws & getting stung on your bum😂💕

We use that liquid but we’ve been experimenting with different ones and think we’ve found a better one now 👍 We do have those bottles as well and they’re really good for stoping the toilet getting full up too quickly. Many thanks for the tips 😀❤️

Love the videos but Sarah you do overdo the fake laughter a bit which 9 times out of 10 is completely inappropriate and I don't think you realise how irritating it is. Almost every piece to camera is peppered with teenage giggling and jay thank goodness is easier on the ear.

I (Jay) do apologise up front for going into full protective mode here, but if you knew Sarah you would know that it’s definitely not fake laughter so that makes it quite a personal criticism - what you see is genuine, she laughs a lot, she laughs hard and she laughs long. And I for one absolutely love it! Especially since quite often it’s at my crap jokes 😅 In fact Sar’s laugh is one of my very favourite things about her and I know lots of other people find it endearing too.
