Southampton to Salisbury canal - trailer

Nice one, you can still see bits of it around Dunbridge on the train to Salisbury, also the Railway tunnel went perpendicular to the canal causing all types of trouble. I look forward to it.

Thank you :) This film is following the canal from Southampton Town Quay to Redbridge, and we are looking at doing the rest of it in the summer. The film is going to focus on the problems the old tunnel has caused over the years as I find it fascinating. Today we filmed the walk from the town quay to the point where the tunnel started, and over the route of it to Havelock road and the station. Plus following the route from where it used to go from the container port to the railway - AKA Andover canal. Plus some lovely drone footage round Redbridge wharf and the river test flood plain north of the dual carriageway. It will be a while as I have another film to finish about the railway line from Ringwood to Christchurch, then I can devote my energies to this project. We just decided to use what turned out to be the perfect day for filming :)
