Southampton absolutely CAN do that forever, buy or promote young players and sell them for big money later on. It's hugely profitable, low risk and allows them to be sustainable. They aren't going to win the league and they aren't going down. Making big money from sales and staying around the middle of the table every year is perfectly fine. United is playing the best football since SAF. I have no clue where you people are getting the "Ole is out of his debth" antics from. The club has been transformed. Since SAF we've won with more than 5 goals 10 times under Ole in 150 games. Under the other 3 managers they did it twice in double the amount of games. We've been in countless semi's which isn't a bad thing. It's a good thing. Getting consistantly into semi's is better than not reaching semi's at all.
