Have you guys really forgotten where we are coming from?? The ridicules and humiliation we've undergone?? And just look at where we are today, don't you classify that as great progress?? All that is left now to complete this progress is winning trophies..

That happens when you don’t see Graeme Souness on you screen. Souness is a salty, biased, delusional old man. It’s funny that he didn’t think that Pogba was man of the match while he had 4 assists that only 6 players EVER had in one game in the prem. It was according to him “expected from a 100m pound player” 1. He wasn’t 100m but 90m 2. Grealish was more 100m and didn’t do anything in the game but when the subject came about him he quickly jumped the subject on that. Ignored it because he knew! He was wrong. Micah Richards called him out on it, an old Man city player… that’s class (to be fair to Micah, great lad tbh). If you are a pundit, be unbiased, speak truthfully and don’t let your emotions blind you from facts. Souness thought Greenwood was the best player that game, just no. I am a Manchester United fan and Greenwood numerously lost the ball on many occasions. Yet, he scored because his finishing is sooo good. Doesn’t mean he should earn man of the match over Pogba 4 assists and Bruno Hattrick…. Souness stop the cap. Or stop tv. Thanks for coming to my ted talk people, have a good day. This video was very refreshing and they all spoke well and truthfully to their knowledge and opinions. Very nice! Agree with the comment above me

Ole is definitely the right man in terms of giving him the job and let him rebuild the squad. I remember how bad it was just before Jose got sacked with Sanchez wages causing problems around the dressing room and Pogba beef with jose and how toxic and the bad attitude around the squad. Ole has rebuild this club from the top to bottom and even if he doesn't win anything he was the right man regardless because he will give the next manager a fighting chance with the world class squad he will leave behind. Any manager would love to come and manages this massive football club but also they would look at this squad and take this job in a heart beat and am talking about managers like Pep, Klopp, Conte etc. All proven winners who will take this team to another level because this team is ready to win and challenges for major trophies now and that's thanks to Ole. If Ole doesn't win anything cool, at least we know he isn't good enough to manage us but he has built a great team with right attitude and then he will leave us in a better state than what Jose, Moyes, LVG and SAF left us in and the next manager with proven track record will deliver us the titles but we will always be thankful for Ole rebuilding this squad from a crap team to a class team and it's all thanks to him if we win anything in the next few seasons with or without him as manager.

Solskjaer’s refusal to rotate is a huge contributory factor to those depth issues. Instead of flogging the likes of Fernandes into the ground with 60 games a season, and only bringing on Van De Beek for a few minutes here and there, he should strategically rest the former against lesser opposition and bring through the latter. Same with Shaw/Telles, and Wan Bissaka/Dalot. Ferguson never considered that his naming an unchanged XI was some sort of KPI, and almost never did it. Yet Solskjaer tried to stop Rashford getting surgery, and will farm Diallo out on loan because he’s too timid to thing beyond the same XI teacher’s pets.

Rashford is not unselfish on the field Carl, he holds on to the ball too long, and Leicester won the league with counter attacking. Love this show btw.

I don't think Lindelof will be the man to lose his place - at least on a regular basis. This is not the first time we've seen him make one of those passes from the back.
@papayawasamoah8163 жыл бұрын
He will lose his place. For good. That’s a fact. He is a good passer of the ball. His deficiency stems from the fact he can’t make well, not too good in the air and gets bullied by the stronger premier league forwards. Everyone knows that’s why United went in for varane. Lindeloffs days as a starter is done

Such a nice discussion. What I feel is if Ole doesnt get a CDM, he might play with double pivot, but give more freedom to Shaw and AWB. The two defenders (Varane and Maguire) with Fred and Scott if defenders, the other six attacking, they can unlock any team in the league. I still believe one good CDM is enough to replace both Fred and Scott, buts lets wait and see

@jduff593 жыл бұрын
I reckon Ole will give Mason license to play all over the front line - I like him as the false 9 and when we need a 9 we have Cavani this season at least. I've never seen a player who was so deadly with both feet, and Mason is changing physically from a boy to a man. He will put up some amazing numbers, and his physicality will improve, getting him headed and scrappy goals.

Man United went though last season without losing away, coupled with a good transfer window this season. Yet, some other pundits thinks they are not title contenders with some ranking us 4th to 5th. We shall see. GGMU

If Shaw gets injured yous dont have a back up LB of any quality. Same as AWB at RB. Centre backs are questionable. Goalkeeping situation is baffling and huge question mark over both keepers who are supposedly the competing number 1s. Central midfield is weak and you cant rely on Pogba as his United career has shown. Hes had one good game and people are absolutely going mental. We shall see, indeed. He will do what he always does. Have a few decent games then go missing all year. He has a terrible attitude. The most overrated player of the last decade without a shadow of a doubt. He cannot sustain good performances unless he is babysat by world class players around him like at Juve and for France. With McTominay, Matic, and/or Fred for company... he just has no discipline. He also has poor drive. More interested in haircuts and boasting and stupid handshakes than actually helping his team to win. Total primadonna. Him and Jesse Lingard are literally the embodiment of everything that is wrong with modern day footballers. United's strong point is there attack. They are extremely top heavy. They didnt even need Sancho. I thought what a waste of money. When they already have (taking away injuries) Rashford, Martial, Greenwood, Dan James, and Cavani. They should of used that money to bring in a world class central midfield player. They have done it for decades. Totally misunderstood the problem and had issues at CB and CM and never addressed them. Always bringing in attacking players. I dont know if its the owners or the people at the club. But they havent sorted out midfield since the days of Scholes and Keane. When they were both gone they have always been poor there and now its horrendous. Last season they had an extremely good run of luck, if you watched the games, you cannot argue with that. Week after week lucky wins and lucky goals and lucky penalties. They had loads of penalties. Also, a team like Liverpool had the opposite. The most unlucky, injury ridden season perhaps ever seen. So that padded their position. Liverpool for all their troubles still finished just 5 points behind United. I thin United will finish top four. But i dont see them as title challengers that can sustain a title challenge with the likes of City, Liverpool, and Chelsea. They havent got the squad and their starting 11 has loads of question marks. They wont have the luck like they had last season. Everyone failing to mention how open Leeds were. They won 5-1 but Leeds were probably as bad as i have ever seen them. The assists for Pogba on at least 3 occasions was terrible defending. With a huge gap between centre backs for his clipped pass through to Bruno and his other 2 passes in behind could of been easily cut out by defenders as the ball was so close to them but for some reason the defenders didnt. A very poor Leeds and an average United where everything went for them on the day. Of course with players of high quality which Greenwood most definitely is - what a player he will be - and of course Pogba in patches when he actually shows up and Bruno Fernandes... they should punish teams like that. Everyone getting carried away bcos of last season and 1 game. Sancho couldnt even get on the pitch for England. I remain unconvinced. The Premier League is not The Bundesliga. Its much more difficult. We shall see as you said. But i am predicting... 3rd or 4th for United. No better. They may be able to win the League cup, FA cup, or Europa League. I dont see them going far in the Champions League.
