My all time joint favourite player which says so much as he’s my joint favourite with Matty Le Tiss. Imagine how hard his journey would have been, not only coming to a new club at a young age, but a completely different country and in also learning a whole new language. Yes, sure there are other players that do this, however rarely are they literally an instant success just also, like a fine wine, just got better and better as each game passed. Another point was his amazing personality and such high professionalism both on and off the pitch. We never saw our Marian in the Sun or News of the World, falling out of some nightclub at 3am (Claus 😂😂😂), or caught smashed coming out of a brothal. He earned such an insane level of adoration from our fans but in addition, he loved us all back so much. Like myself, I’m sure Marian so many other fans just happy in being able to watch him play, having such a positive impact on my life and of course many of us through challenging times, where it was possible to escape problems on a matchday and just feel happiness and positivity in watching him. Looking forward to Marian’s book hopefully able to be published in English and can’t wait to see it on sale here in Australia but also globally as he completely deserves every success.
