@Kevin. Not every parent beats their children to teach them discipline but they do it to take out their own frustrations. Studies have shown beating kids doesn't lead to great grades but high suicide rates. Parents can't beat strangers because it can lead to prison, but their kids will tolerate the abuse. Culture is a weak argument for abuse. One child policy in China led to female feticide. And abusers will say that's also part of our culture. Only an abuser would say that's ok.

Tho I dislike the mother.. but she's still their mother. No matter how immature she is ..the probability that she will leave the family after the fame and opportunities that comes from the son fades. Sad but to put ourselves in her shoe.. most likely she had it more rough when growing up in such conditions. We cannot judge others without judging ourselves for what we have or had during our childhood. Just my two cents. She heard the story of 56000 pounds being donated to the kid which is what her husband would make in like 10 years of work. She didn't get the memo that the charity only gave them 900 and kept the rest "for other children in need". So she wanted a piece of that windfall. But upon realising she didn't have the full story and she couldn't simply freeload and spend it all she realised she made the wrong choice. Hence wanting to divorce. Best part is she blames him for all the issues and being poor. It's like it completely goes over her head she is a human being and can work and try to be successful to... Alex Ander It doesn’t. Saying he doesn’t deserve the wife puts the man lower than the woman. “Deservingness” is added on to something of value, which the woman is not. Since deservingness is tagged on to a valuable object, saying the man doesn’t deserve the woman means that the woman has value and the man doesn’t deserve value. However, the woman does not have value, and the man deserves a valuable woman.
