Southeast Iceland is where the ice is, and it is spectacular! No trip is complete without a visit to this part of the island. Here are the MUST--SEE spots:
Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. And, if you can do it, kayaking on any glacier lagoon is so worth it.

Thank you! The orange light house is called Hvalnes Lighthouse. The place I showed right after that where it was raining and blowing, I don't know the name of. We just saw it and stopped. I agree it's a beautiful place! Thank you for watching!

Hi, loved your video! Im going to iceland in october and i would like to know if we are allowed to get in the Vatnajökull Glacier National Park without a guide, in case i want only walk trough and see some of te views... you booked the kayaking in the place or did it before? thank you!! ❤

Thank you, Debora! You are going to love Iceland! You do not need a guide to visit Vatnajokull Glacier National Park for things like hiking to Svartifoss Waterfall, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, and some other places. But to kayak, or do a glacier walk, or ice cave, you do need to get a guide. And, those activities are so worth it. We used Iceguide and highly recommend them. We did book it in advance, before arriving in Iceland. I'm excited for you and hope you have a wonderful time in Iceland!
